I do tend to agree with these posts and i think that how people respond to fiction is definitely influenced by real biases but i also think the focus on fictional women is starting to give people in fandom spaces kind of an “out” where you just have to make a list of woman characters you enjoy and reblog a few posts about toxic yuri and you’ve Done Feminism.
