𝔓𝔞𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔤'𝔰: Vergil x Angel!Gn!reader
𝔚𝔞𝔯𝔫𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰: Probably an ooc vergil but whateva
✮Vergil thought about the existence of angels for a while, if demons existed, then angels must exist as well, right?
✮He honestly craves to know more about you but keeps himself away from you, he feels like he’s tainting you. He’s a demon, a subhuman at best, and you’re an angel, something divine and perfect. How was he meant to stand next to you knowing this information?
✮As much as Vergil tries to stay away from you, he seems to be always observing you. How did you, an angel, walk this earth? How could you even look at Vergil? Are all angel as beautiful as you? So many things he wanted to know yet how could he bring himself to ask?
✮Vergil isn’t the best with words, he never was and never will be, but when you finally start hanging around him for a reason he doesn’t know he finds himself speaking in ways he didn’t know he could. Speaking with you seemed so easy, even though you yourself were something holy and divine you never looked down on him for being below you. He found himself near you most of the time, even he didn’t know how he gets next to you sometimes.
✮Vergil feels this need to protect you, you don’t know how evil this world is, you don’t know how evil hell is. That is something he wants to keep the same, to save you from the malice and misery that comes with being around him. It truly was odd, he himself had shed so many blood, killed many, and done things no one should have ever done in a pursuit of power; but when he’s near you, he feels normal, like someone who belongs.
✮If you have wings he’s very curious about them, as much as he acts that he isn’t he likes to observe them, how they twitch, how they flutter and how soft they look… that that he will ever purposefully touch them. If you two are together, he comes around to being more comfortable around them, he still feels as if he is somehow tainting them and this is a privilege someone like him shouldn’t have.
✮He enjoys admiring you whenever he can, even though he denies it whenever you catch him he takes in what he can about you. He has something in him telling him he shouldn’t, but he can’t, if you leave him one day at least let him carve you memory into his mind so he can remember the angel he was once next to
✮He tries to find out what he can about angels, from reading passages and books describing them to subtly asking you questions. He needs to know the difference between you and him, is the gap between the two of you truly as big as others seem to make it be?
✮Vergil will cherish you as if you were an angel sent solely for him, you might never know the pain of being a devil, but he never puts it against you, how could he? You were the one thing he was certain he wanted to keep, the one thing he selfishly wanted for himself, and now that he knew that you too wanted him he couldn’t feel more content.
✮Vergil is your most devout follower and admirer, the day that he is not is a day that will never come. He is entirely enamoured by you and will never not be.
Nero with gn!reader who’s a bright colorful and smiley person and a koala. Like seeing him after a mission just JUMPS on his back or into his arms and clings, whether it’s private or public. Just clings. Casually hangs off of him.
Not one for like super PDA like kisses or anything, just needs to be somehow clinging onto him. He walks into devil may cry and reader is just clung onto his back casually.

𝔄/𝔑: Writing Nero is honestly really hard for me so I hope I did him some justice in this!
𝔓𝔞𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔤'𝔰: Nero x Gn!reader
𝔚𝔞𝔯𝔫𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰: probably ooc, reference to death.
✮Nero didn’t really get the appeal of clinging to him, out of everyone you knew why did you choose him? Whatever, not that he’s complaining… well maybe actually a little bit. He blames you for any pain he feels in his body, what a loser.
✮He does enjoy having you around, you really felt like the sun after not knowing he was cold for so long. Don’t mind if he starts start’s smiling more around you, or do, just stay near him; he needs to feel what it’s like to have a little normalcy in his life, doesn’t he?
✮When he comes back from mission’s he enjoys having you jump on him, whether he catches you or not doesn’t matter. As long as he is with you he’ll endure the pain of being brought down to the floor. He does enjoy when he catches you and spins you around in his arms, feels like he’s living something not meant for him, but you’ll indulge him right?
✮He does prefer when you cling to him in private a bit more because he feels less embarrassed about it, not that he’ll reject you in public. Its more life it’ll be you clinging to him while he walks around getting weird stares from people who aren’t used to you clinging to him like he’s the only thing keeping you alive.
✮He honestly finds it impressive it is that you can cling to him with such strength. Sometimes he struggles himself trying to wriggle out of your grasp, eventually he just gives into this oh so cruel fate you’ve punished him too.
✮Nero finds it pathetic just how much leeway you have, even Dante doesn’t touch him or come into contact with him half as much as you do. He always somehow finds an excuse for you, he doesn’t know who’s he convincing anymore, himself or the person he’s talking too?
✮He also starts reciprocating your physical affection, you two will rarely be seen in the same room not somehow touching each other. He finds himself craving your presence and warmth, it’s like something in him wants to devour you in a way that will keep you near him.
✮And when you somehow go moments without holding each other or somehow even a few hours… or maybe even a day?! He finds himself questioning if he did something wrong, did he upset you? Did he make you hate him somehow? How did he get himself here?...
✮If Nero could he would have you next to him at all times, you’ve basically become a part of him, and he just can’t seem to let you go. Letting you leave feels like letting something precious in his chest be ripped out, good thing you’re here to stay!
✮Overall you’ve turned Nero into a smiling mess whenever you’re around, he genuinely can’t remember what it was like before you honoured him with the sun.
✮Nero won’t let you go, as long as you promise to stay by his side. When death comes to claim him, the earth herself will taste the love he holds for you, you truly were something he needed in his life and he didn’t even know it… oh how kind you are, are you sure you aren’t some kind of angel?

𝔚𝔞𝔯𝔫𝔦𝔫𝔤𝔰: insane amounts of yearning
✮Cloud knew from the moment he felt something warm in his chest that you were different, he was never good with words, so he always watched from a distance; didn’t want to scare you off of course! Not because he knew that he would start stuttering and the calm and collected SOLDIER façade would fall… not at all!
✮At some point he just accepts that he will always feel like this around you, like a boy finding out what love is for the first time… even if it’s been months of longing looks across the room. Eventually, in due time, he starts talking to you more.
✮Everyone around you always has something to say when you two done talking, something along the lines of “man he isn’t even trying to hide it!” and “the way he looks at you is something I envy”… huh wonder what that means!
✮It always makes you concerned when people talk about Cloud to you, they always say he’s more on the silent side, calm and seems indifferent to things happening around him; which is odd considering that when you speak to Cloud he always seems nervous in small ways, like the way he keeps wiping his hands and only making eye contact with you for short moments before looking away with a slight tint of pink on his ears, that’s normal right?
✮Cloud feels like he can’t think about anything other than you, even when he’s speaking to other people he’s thinking about you… what would you say? What would you do in this situation? He’s only snapped out of his lovesick trance when the person he’s talking to realizes Cloud isn’t listening to a thing that they’re saying, how rude.
✮Whenever he sees something you might like or something that reminds him of you he gets all flustered, c’mon Cloud it’s just a song! No need to be sucha’ sap… He will buy these things for you, best believe he’s gonna hold it out to you and attempt to play it off as something he just bought on a whim… Cloud this is the third trinket this week, you’re getting a bit obvious now!
✮He feels embarrassed when he thinks about you at night, even if he tries to think about anything else his mind runs back to you. When will he see you again, is it tomorrow? Just thinking about it makes him feel all giddy, which is odd considering he has a reputation for being hard to read.
✮Cloud hopes you don’t see the small slip ups he makes around you, stuttering over words he shouldn’t be. And the way he looks at you, he’s sure you can just feel the absolute restraint he has around you; his eyes seem softer around you, like you’re something he’s been looking forward to, something he doesn’t want to scare away, something he wants to cherish.
✮And when Cloud finally tells you how he feels, how you’re the one thing he can rely on, how your someone he genuinely trusts, he feels like a weight has been lifted off of him; like someone let him breath again after not knowing he was even drowning himself, seems like that person was you. Oh how grateful (and pink) he was when you told him the feeling was mutual, he’ll never forget the day you graced him with a kiss, there’s just no way you weren’t made for him!

Dante:
✮As flamboyant and flashy as Dante is I think he isn’t the biggest fan of PDA so if you want cuddle or hug him its better if you were to do it behind closed doors, not saying he won’t hold your hand outside.
✮Definitely a small spoon, will become the big spoon if he or you feels like it though. He loves being so close to you that there’s no space between the two of you, if you two are gonna cuddle you two are gonna do it the ‘right’ way (he’s just going to cling to you like a lifeline and complain and whine if you try to get up)
✮He also enjoys having you pressed against his chest or just having his arms around you, having you so close to him makes him want to believe that you’re staying. He’s never had someone he could lean on before, he’s sure this is what it feels like to have that person though.
✮He wouldn’t directly tell you he wanted to cuddle; he would most likely just pull you in saying some cheesy one liner. If you were to ask him wouldn’t respond with words, he’d just jump into your arms.
✮Totally the guy that hogs the entire blanket on purpose just so you get close to him, he was never too good with words, so this is the most direct thing you’ll get from him… for now.
✮Definitely seeks out your touch and warmth after rough days, it truly is pathetic how much he melts into your touch; but he never felt safer. It was odd, usually he was the one saving and protecting people, but when he was with you it was like he was the one who felt safe… he hasn’t felt like this in a while, so don’t leave, please?
Nero:
✮Nero is somewhat like Dante in the sense that he would rather cuddle you behind closed doors but doesn’t mind some light PDA.
✮Likes being the big spoon more than the small spoon, there’s no real reason other than the fact that he just wants to hold you. Nero wouldn’t mind being the small spoon either, whatever you want is what he wants.
✮Also like Dante, Nero wouldn’t ask you to cuddle he would just look at you hoping you get the message or just pull you in himself. If you ask him though, he’s rarely said no.
✮I like to think that Nero enjoys your weight on top of him which is why he mainly prefers to be the big spoon.
✮When he’s been gone for a long time or you two haven’t seen each other in a while he likes to just cuddle with you while you two talk about what you’ve both been up two, it’s the one peaceful outcome he likes to cherish in his moments of tranquility
✮He also loves laying down on your chest and feeling/listening to your heartbeat, he never admits that he’s doing it.
