I really want to write a fic but I don't have any followers and I feel like my writing sucks as it is especially fanfic writting /:

@ anon! dont let ur follower count deter u from writing! ive seen it happen so many times (to myself as well) where people dont have that many followers but they have an idea, and they just go with it and write it, and whether its “objectively good” or not, they put themselves out there, & end up w lots more followers just bc they took the risk!

i was talking to my mom recently about writing, and i told her how i really don’t like my writing, but people say they do, so that motivates me to keep doing it, because maybe one day ill believe them. 

my mom recently got into quilting, and she told me that someone on a quilting forum said “i never do my best work on my quilts; i save my best work for my next one” and that’s honestly how i feel people who are trying to start stuff should approach it. dont worry if what you’re about to do/what youre currently working on is good, just make sure you’re doing something, bc that’s how you improve, and then the next thing you do will be better.

The Youtube user Nick Slick Wilde just got his channel back.

If you don’t know who that is, it’s a Youtuber that’s been stealing art and reposting them on Youtube, he’s even been earning money from it.

I will say it now. I HAVE NOT ALLOWED ANY PERMISSION FOR THIS CHANNEL TO REPOST MY ART, NOR USE IT FOR ANY PROFITABLE USE.

This is utterly disgusting that he’s allowed to keep doing this and still defend his motives towards his channel.
