i posted this on twitter but i might as well repost this here.
please don't copy or trace my art for your commissions. i've always been very welcoming of artists to use my work as references or to even trace, so long as i'm credited. my drawings can be useful to new artists, and i'm of the minority who believe that tracing is useful if done properly. tracing real figures is how i improved in anatomy. my opinion still stands on that. although, some people have taken my blessing and used it to completely copy my drawings for their commissions, which just isn't fair to me. it's no longer being made as a tool to grow artistically; it's theft. it's also not fair to the people who are receiving the artwork. this most likely will fall upon deaf ears, which i've come to terms with, considering this has been a recurring issue with specific people in mind, but please know my stance on that. i must reiterate i don't want any harassment or anything of the sort to fall onto anybody. (censored the second artist's tag to respect their privacy) this is all i will post but this is exactly what i mean. please just have courtesy for both your commissioner and me.
