In my AU, Chapter 3, Taka or "Kiyondo" defends himself from Hifumi but is blackened in the process. Celeste accounted for the possibility of Hifumi's failure and covered her tracks so the others would not suspect her connection.

Taking inspiration from the stage play, Celeste had been overseeing the altercation between Hifumi and Kiyondo and stepped in after he left. Hifumi was still bleeding out and Celeste took the opportunity to try and finish him off herself.

Upon the trial, Makoto and Kyoko were able to prove that Celeste orchestrated the scene but that it was impossible to tell which hammer strike was responsible for taking Hifumi's life. The Ultimate Gambler votes herself, as well as Kiyondo and Daidai. The rest of the group vote Kiyondo and are correct.

Kiyondo, Daidai and Celeste are executed.
