me: okay! flutters is done — TIME TO FINALLY TACKLE THE W.I.T.C.H. REWRITE—
brain: “fontaine noire au” with furina as a child star turned night club singer turned amateur detective insisting on helping new transfer hat guy solve the vanishing girls case film noir style but then they eventually realize they’re like basically soulmates but in a way that is open to the reader’s interpretation. (plus furina’smom!foçalors haunts the narrative big time and everything is connected and it’s lowkey a 1920’s detective mystery au)
Sometimes a little sweetness goes a long way to temper the vinegar within.
Join the AU of Miraculous Ladybug, A tale of how Chloé’s many false starts in life were just the beginning to a real redemption of heart and hero; of a different path followed where Chloé struggles with the reality of her place in the world and her own internal battle of self discovery and change.
if you really think about it, the inheritance games is just barbie princess charm school but with more puzzles, romance, and billionaires instead of princesses and magic.
both have been on the brain recently and let's be so real: w.i.t.c.h. could fit in the realm of genshin i bet so thanks to picrew i made the w.i.t.c.h. girlies. i didn't do elyon or orube since i wasn't sure which of the visions would suit them best but if you have any recs lemme know :)
WILL VANDOM:
Electro, 5-star (all w.i.t.c.h. girlies are 5-star), Sword, Monstadt
IRMA LAIR:

Pyro, 5-star, Catalyst, Sumeru
CORNELIA HALE:

HAY LIN:
Anemo, 5-star, Polearm, Liyue
Elyon (and Caleb) would DEFINITELY be Khaenri'ahn - long-lost kingdom in shambles, unknown whether it's still existing? Talk about Meridian-core lol. Orube would be Inazuman - she's kinda giving Kujou Sara vibes??
I am back on my Genshin W.I.T.C.H.pact bullshit again.
Now Presenting: Constellations (+ Some Lore cuz I can)
(lol this is draft one basically. i did my best)
Will — Cor Fati, Heart of Fate.
I’m actually lowkey proud of this one. In the AU, the Heart of Kandrakar is an ancient mechanical device that is ultimately the heart of a god blended with Khaenri’ahn tech. Because of its tremendous power, it was smuggled out and lost to history after Khaenri’ah’s fall, eventually finding its way to the bottom of Cider Lake, where it’s found by Will. This then becomes Will’s signature weapon, but it’s also supposedly known to alter fate. Is that true, who even knows? Venti and Alice are only certain that the Heart holds as many secrets as it does power — that, and if anyone can unlock those secrets, it would be Will.
Irma — Infinita Flumen, Endless River.
Irma has some of the most fascinating lore — or rather, her mom. She haunts this whole narrative: finding the Heart, fleeing her homeland in Natlan, then fleeing her new family in Fontaine, scouring the House of Daena for a way to rid the Heart forever, meeting an old grandma who helps her, and finally following a god’s advice and chucking the Heart into the lake. Irma’s quest is one for answers — for her past, her mixed heritage, her unsure future. But water has always been able to carve its own path — Irma will certainly be no different.
Taranee — Aeterna Flamma, Eternal Flame.
Are you seeing a pattern with these constellations? Taranee, being born from a Liyuan student and an eremite from the desert, has always been outcasted. That’s alright, though — she spent practically her whole life at the Akademiya in their House of Daena, always on the hunt for questions unasked and answers waiting to be unearthed. She has a hunger for knowing, which frightens the professors a bit (after all, look what happened to the last brilliant mind with great ambition, a certain Zandik), but she understands (begrudgingly) that not everything needs an answer or to be known. However, that doesn’t mean she won’t try.
Cornelia — Amicus Terrae, Friend of the Earth.
An heiress to one of Fontaine’s biggest fortunes, Cornelia is a childhood friend of Irma’s, and a practically grew up the Melusines around the house. So far, Cornelia has the least amount of lore in this AU, but I’m hoping that’ll change soon. Her family are some of the biggest investors of the Fontaine Research Institute, funding many of the projects there, and Cornelia has played a significant role in that in more recent years, with humble brilliance and established grace catching the eyes of investors and researchers alike. One of her favorite pass times — her and her sister alike — is frolicking in the forests of Fontaine. She might be able to see the Aranara. We’ll see.
Hay Lin — Ventus Legatum, Wind’s Legacy.
Very bad attempt at a chinese dragon, I know, just pretend I did a decent job k? ANYWAYYY something something wind and the passage of time something something Hay Lin and the honoring of her ancestors before her something something. I don’t know the specifics, but Hay Lin takes up a family mantle from her beloved grandmother, Yan Lin. There is a dragon involved as A) it is the family crest and B) duh. She’s tied with Cornelia on the least amount of lore, though she is besties and coworkers with Gaming and did catch a glimpse of Irma’s mom while she was in her grandmother’s care very briefly — not that she knew who Irma’s mother was at the time, of course. We’ll discover more as I inevitably dive deeper into this AU.
I have ideas for Elyon and Orube, I just didn’t make them. Elyon’s Constellation is Corona Aurea, Golden Crown; Orube’s is Ardenti Iustitia, Burning Justice (I think that’s what I’m landing on for her. It was between that and Flammeum Caracal, Flaming Hellcat).
Tell me your thoughts please pretty please! I would so love to talk about this with folks!! :D
