one night, i found myself walking along an alleyway i didn't know, but i didn't feel lost. instead, i found myself back. hi, self, i missed you. it's good to have you back. 😄 (at 南投縣政府)

TONIGHT

tonight, i wish, more than anything, i could forget you. i wish if even for just 5 minutes i could get you out of my system. you don’t know how exhausted i end every single damn day trying to not think of you. you are my first and last thoughts of everyday. and every single minute in between. you’re even in my dreams. endless. it’s just endless. i try my best to remind myself not to torment myself any further. try not think of you. try so hard i could succeed and not think of you anymore. but i fail every damn time. and it zaps the energy right out of me. so please. just for tonight. just for tonight, let me rest. let me forget you. even for just 5 minutes.

FOOLISH

she was a dreamer. and a foolish one. because she dreamt of many things. and dreamt they would come true. she sat in a corner counted them all. wished they would all happen like magic. but dreams don’t happen like that, do they? dreams remain dreams. reality is another thing. something very distinct from dreams.

there is bridge towards the two, however. but it is tedious work. yes. the thought of it is tedious. and the work itself is tedious. to transition a dream into reality, it’s just a lot of work.

one of her dreams? love. one of her fears? love. foolish. yes, foolish. for when she dreams, she becomes afraid. and when she’s afraid, she dreams. and she is stuck. in the same place. over and over. dreaming. fearing. foolish. and some more.
