One of my coworkers shared a piece of generated slop “art” of our boss covered head to toe in body paint, and like, I didn’t need to see that in general, but also I miss the days when you had to commit to making cursed art, ya know?

Like if you wanted something in the world, you had to make it. It used to be an experience; it was a negotiation with whatever fucked up urge inside you wanted this idea out in the world.

Like a painting of Garfield as an eldritch horror used to take hours of your life. It used to mean something. Now you just tell a computer to make it and it shits out a steaming pile of garbage.
