the visual staging to make sure Gil is very clearly BOSS, bigger, burlier!

makes me wonder what a later team-up of Fleming and Eastwood would have been like, post- Leone films. Clint in full hardened grit mode... imagine Eric entering the scene and once again being the more intimidating, man on top (so to speak)

I think Maggie really looks like Gill, especially the smile — I can totally see it😃 They did a great job casting the actors. And she's got a bit of his personality too. But Maggie was probably named after her mom, 'cause Gillian was named after Gill. It's fanny how they say her name :) Gillian is calm and careful, with big eyes (almost like Rowdy! 😁), while Maggie is much more active and fidgety. Still, both girls are gorgeous🥰 I really loved those two episodes about them. But it's such a shame Rowdy wasn't in that episodes🤨 It would be cool to try drawing some fanart with him and the girls)

of course I have the fantasy of being a down-on-her-luck gal of the 1870s who gets picked up by Gil Favor and joins on as a ladydrover, learns on the job and wins the hearts of the whole outfit..

but then I consider the real me who depends on her SSRIs and gets wimpy in the heat, and can't ride or shoot to save her life,

and asks questions like "do cattle from the south have different accents?"
