the fact that brooke ence keeps a lean physique year around is goals. so i will be using her as the counter to my devil that will eat everything...

example:

devil - oh jus eat it. you will burn it off. who cares if u cant track it. its really not that much.

saint - brooke ence eats for her goals and makes necessary sacrifices day in and day out. be like her!

Taking 5 weeks to get this body back. I always say once I am in a good place i will not loose it. but I am a i dont care about tracking when i am stressed type of person. smh. life hit me hard. but it did get too bad. I can still fit my clothes so thats a plus. only looking to drop about 3-5 pounds nothing cray but it will be a world of a difference in how i look in the mirror. i cant wait.

day1 of strict macro counting and also using this time to get some of my old habits back like taking my supps everyday and drinking enough water.

New Journey/Lifestyle Shift

I have entered the world of low carb. I am doing it for health and longevity. I will only be eating enough carbohydrate to fuel my workouts and for recovery 😐. Ive been recovering from an injury and it is the perfect time to adapt to a new lifestyle. Last time i tried i had the keto flu pretty bad so i stopped after like 3 days but i also was in the thick of things in college and training 5ish days a week. This time i am doing minimal activity at low intensity 2-3 days a week. Also i have waaay more info this time like electrolytes i must focus on getting each day so i do not get the keto flu and also how to fuel my workouts once i get back to training.

Its been 5 days so far and i have not had the keto flu. i am so thankful for that. I have felt fine. I also lost some bloat which is a pretty nice bonus. current macros 138p 25net carbs 155f. I seem to be getting about 35-40 total carbohydrates. I have fit in fruit, chips, and granola 🤗. For me it is really not about being in ketosis its about keeping my blood sugar stable because i am insulin resistant currently and would love to reverse that. Also i so believe that i should only eat carbs when i need them and right now i really dont. My goal is to stick my carbs around training when my body does a better job of using them and needs them to replenish what i broke down during my workout.

I was thinking of buying a glucose/keto monitor for testing. See what carbs throw my blood sugar out of wack and which ones dont have much of an effect. Also if i am in ketos what level of carbs kick me out. Just for curiosity. This should be an interesting journey to say the least. Cheers to learning the best way to fuel my body!!

i wrote my self a note today “you are looking for ways to spend money you do not have” which was in reference to me looking for options for nutrition coaching so which that said imma keep using Avatar for $10 a month. Ill be motivating myself because that is all i can afford and i am perfectly capable of doing that smh.

now i gotta take my measurements again and get back to weighing myself each morning.. grrrrr. i hate that part!!

back to the grind. if only i can get in to the groove and stay there for the rest of the yr... personal challenge!
