a "ritual" to say goodbye to your old self and everything you've known
are you feeling stuck in your manifestation/shifting/void journey? do you keep seeing people telling you to persist in your desires, but you feel like your mind is doing the complete opposite?
it's time to let go of your old identity. the doubtful one. to step into your new self. the one who already has it all.
before you start: do this in the afternoon (ideally), before you go to bed. turn off your phone notifications, clean your space/table, make it a safe place, light a candle, whatever makes you feel calm and relaxed. (optionally) listen to this subliminal as you do the following steps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRFnXo2vlWI :
the goodbye letter: take a piece of paper and write a letter for your old self. the one you're letting go of. write: what no longer serves you, what you're saying goodbye to. tell them thank you, for everything they've done to get you to this point in time. tell them that it has been a long journey, but now it's time to leave. write the date down. this is the last time you're doing this.
burn the letter or tear it into tiny pieces and throw it away. once you don't have the letter in your hands anymore, say out loud or in your mind: "It is done."
any doubts that show up from this point forward are just whispers of your old self. but you're not that anymore, so simply ignore them, laugh at them. they don't belong to you, but to somebody you don't know anymore.
take a shower; however long you want the shower to be. play some frequency music in the backround. as you wash the soap off of yourself, imagine you're "cleansing" your old self. this is rebirth. the second you step out of the shower, think of yourself as a blank canvas. you are renewed. anything you want to be at this point, you already are.
as you get ready for bed (self care, brushing teeth, etc.), treat every movement as sacred. this is not routine. this is reverence. you are officially your new, master manifestor, master shifter, master of EVERYTHING self. feel how incredible it is to finally be free of all the doubts you used to have.
lie down in your bed, and say (out loud or silently): "This body is no longer a cage. This mind is no longer a battlefield. I am nothing. I am everything. I am."
let yourself drift off to sleep while repeating any short phrase that implies fulfillment, like a lullaby. an example is "thank you, thank you, thank you..." or "isn't it wonderful?" or any short phrase you prefer, until your mind is completely dominated by the sensation of thankfulness.
when you wake... open your eyes like you're seeing the world for the first time. because you are.
New theme?
Yes, soon. Although I... Don't like it as much as the others?.
A Spark Of Hope
"The moon, a silver sickle in the inky velvet sky, cast long, dancing shadows across the room. Silence reigned, broken only by the rhythmic thud of Lucas's heart against Harmony's ear, a primal drumbeat that resonated deep within her. The air was thick with the scent of lavender and roses, a heady perfume that seemed to weave a spell around them.
Harmony traced lazy circles on Lucas's chest, her fingers ghosting over the intricate network of veins. His eyes, the color of a stormy sea, held hers captive, a mesmerizing depth within their blue depths.
' Does it always feel like this?' she wondered, a shiver tracing down her spine.
Lucas, a being of pure energy, felt the question ripple through her mind, a silent echo in the stillness of the night. He knew her thoughts, her desires, the very essence of her being. Yet, there were moments, fleeting and precious, when he chose not to intrude, to allow her a sliver of privacy, a space for her own thoughts to bloom.
Beautiful, he thought, his voice a low rumble, a caress against her ear. He gently nuzzled her hair, inhaling the sweet scent of her skin.
Harmony closed her eyes, anticipation building. She felt his breath on her skin, hot and eager, and a low growl rumbled in his chest, a sound that sent shivers down her spine. He pulled her closer, his body a wall of warmth against her, and she felt the vibrations of his purr resonate through her, a deep, primal hum that seemed to awaken something primal within her.
A soft moan escaped her lips, involuntary and unrestrained. She pressed her hand against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her palm. "Lucas," she whispered, her voice husky with desire, "I..."
The rest was lost in a flurry of sensations â the taste of his lips, the feel of his hands exploring her body, the electric current that surged between them. In that moment, all that existed was the intensity of their connection, a shared experience that transcended the physical."
if you're trying to get into the head of your story's antagonist, try writing an "Am I the Asshole" reddit post from their perspective, explaining their problems and their plans for solving them. Let the voice and logic come through.
"you know you are only supposed to have 1 apprentice maybe 2 not 15." said the wizard council member "well until people stop leaving surprisingly powerful orphans at my doorstep I'll be taking care of my 17 apprentices." The council member snapped their wand "WHERE DID YOU GET 3 MORE!"
Been seeing a lot of âdonât tell people that their first draft is supposed to suckâ posts lately and I want to make it extra clear for anyone with literal thinking or who may otherwise have been lead under any impression otherwise;
What any advice-giver worth their salt should mean when they say this is âDonât worry about getting it perfect on the first draft, itâs not obligated to be the best work you could ever make it right off the batâ
For a lot of people the first draft is often the worst draft, and as such we tend to jump to reassuring people that their first draft is meant to be that way, to assure them that itâs not a true reflection of the quality of their writing skills - but that doesnât mean that itâs the same for everyone, and many people absolutely adore their first drafts, myself included
Because letâs be honest; the first draft isnât inherently bad. Many are actually incredible, in fact! Sometimes editing isnât to fix something, itâs just to refine it; sand off the edges and paint on a last coat of polish. It doesnât mean that what you have isnât good, and Iâd bet money that even the writers who think their first drafts are abominations have written some amazing first drafts
And the idea that your first draft has to be bad because you didnât suffer the whole time you worked on it? I want to promise you something; the more you enjoy creating it, the better the story will be. Youâll be more creative and imaginative and your readers will feel the love and care pouring out of every word. Nobody wants to read something that nobody wanted to write. There are very, very few ways to write wrong, and the biggest one is to not overall enjoy it
The term âsuffer for your artâ gets thrown around a lot, and the way I interpret it is that you should be willing to persevere with your passions even when it becomes difficult, as well as learning from your experiences and allowing them to shine through in your work. This means knowing when to take a break when itâs no longer fun, then coming back to it when youâre next in the right headspace to do so, not that you need to push through burnout or god forbid hate the entire process of writing
The number one rule of creative writing, or any form of art, is to have fun. The process can be long and challenging and stressful, and youâre bound to hit a rough patch at least once, if not many more times, just like with any long-term project. But if youâre not ultimately enjoying the process, whatâs the point? Suffering for your art does not mean that art is suffering
Write for fun. Enjoy the process, even if you donât enjoy every step of it. Suffering for your art doesnât mean hating it. Youâre allowed to like your first draft, and thereâs absolutely nothing wrong with that. Your first draft may very well be your worst draft, as the nature of drafting goes, but your worst is still good and worth loving and enjoying. Anyone who tells you that any first draft is inherently bad either has a different take on the meaning of the phrase or is sadly misinformed. And even if something is inherently bad doesnât make it unenjoyable or unlovable, or vice versa

When the truly ancient gods were rediscovered, they didn't seek vengeance on a world that had forgotten them - rather, they were happy that the humans they were so fond of remembered them once again after untold millenia of loneliness.
