I think we should all create little ghost ocs who live in our house based on the history of where we live and share them with the world. random thought but an urgent one.

OK. So for the house I'm in... Small lot, used to be part of the Aymar estate until the 1910s or so, so I'll give a roster for the street.

Oldest known ghost is a Paleo-Indian, died circa 12000 BP.

Second oldest is an early Tongva tribeswoman. Let's give her a dating of 1200-1300 AD.

Third oldest is a sailor who left the Cabrillo expedition, or possibly the last survivor of a Spanish scouting party from the Coronado expedition who, having been separated and unable to reconnect with the expedition, took off for the coast in hopes of finding a ship. Either way, the sightings of land-based Spaniards traveling ahead of the expedition are based off these guys. 1542, the Thomas character.

There's a ghost on the street who died in the pre-Franciscan epidemic wave. Let's say 1760s.

There's a BUNCH of ghosts from smallpox during the mission period. The plague pit.

There's another woman, our Mary equivalent, who was killed in the genocide of California Indians. (Yes, you will hear a LOT about this period of California history sorry not sorry, this is a comedy but you cannot avoid this assholery) 1850.

1880s Captain-equivalent administrator fellow, pain in the ass.

There's a Japanese pearl diver from the turn of the century. Hit by car.

Our WWII fellows:

- Zoot suit.

- Cocky airman with no pants.

They don't like each other.

Most recent is an old baseball fan who died of a heart attack in the 2010s. She's waiting to see if a longtime player retiring will free her to be sucked off since the last two world series didn't do it.

okay, I live in a small town in west Texas. Here’s my idea

•Eldest ghosts is a 16th century conquistador probably died of smallpox or some other diease

• Next is an Apache woman with war paint and weapons on her. She died of an embarrassing death like an allergic reaction to something

• A loud cowgirl from the Old West. She still has her guns in her holsters and loves adventures

• How about a 20th century Texan housewife of a rich tycoon? Probably big hair, thick Texan accent, and big time smoker

• An aspiring comedian from the 80s who never got his big shot. The living can hear him whispering or telling joeks

• A luchador wrestler from the 90s who died in the ring. He still has on his masked and costume

Ghosts CBS: Ghostly Powers 👻👻👻

A list of ghost powers I think would be cool

Laughter Manipulation —Ability to give the living the giggles, causing them to go into uncontrollable fits of laughter🤭😂🤣

Temperature control — (if they froze to death) Causing the room temperature to drop, making it cold🥶☃️

Ghostly Whisper — similar to Alberta’s power but they can whisper into the living’s ears allowing them to hear them🤫🗣️

Electrical Combustion — able to cause electric appliances like blenders, microwaves, or lamps to explode🤯💣

Anxiety Manipulation — able to make the living go into panic, giving them an anxiety attack 😰😓

Bee Control — (if they died of allergic reaction to a bee sting) powers to control bees from one to a swarm 🐝🐝🐝

Death Sense — the ability to sense when a living will die 💀⚰️

Ideas for Ghosts in Ghosts CBS 🏨👻😱

Gen Z ghost who actually has their phone on them and still works in airplane mode. They let the woodstone ghosts use their phone “Thank god I charged it before I died.”📲🤳📱

Cowgirl/Cowboy ghost from the old west, talks in a thick accent and still has their gun in their holsters that works “I’ve been around since Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday. Good friends of mine.” 🤠🏜️🔫

A comedian from the 70s in bell bottoms and Farrah fawcett hair cut. “My ghost power is giving the living the giggles.” 🪩🤣💃

A noir detective from the 40s who died during an investigation 🚬🕵️‍♂️🔎 “Got killed during a stakeout. Guns went blazing like hot popcorn on a skillet.”

Mexican luchador who died in the ring during the 90s 🦹‍♂️🤼‍♂️🇲🇽 “I was in the ring with Diablo Diaz while he put me in a piledriver, broke my neck. Let’s just say I lost the match.”

An eccentric theatre actor who died on the stage as well. Their ghost power is able to possess the living at will. “The world is a stage and I’m glad I can be whoever I want.” 🎭👯

Fashionista who makes you think of Cruella or The Devil Wears Prada. Their ghost power is being able to change clothes with the other ghosts. “Thank god I died wearing Versace. Not those knee high socks like the arrow nerd (poor Pete 😅) 🧵👗🪡

CBS Ghosts Episode Idea 👻👖🏹💐🎙️🛌

I think it would be cool to have an entire therapy episode where Sam and Jay hold a counseling session for the main ghosts. They’re getting on each other’s nerves and fighting lately so Sam suggests talking out their problems with each other, doing trust fall exercises, and even having them imitate each other. I think it would be funny and also sad as each ghost lashes out their feelings and burdens.

Isaac/Chris/Nigel Idea 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨🦖🇺🇸🇬🇧🇦🇺

here’s what I think will go down.

Chris comes back to Woodstone and Isaac is hiding him throughout the house so Nigel won’t know Chris didn’t really get sucked off. During this, Chris comes onto Isaac and kisses him for the fun of it. Isaac doesn’t feel anything as he sees this is wrong and doesn’t feel that way about Chris anymore. However, Nigel walks in on them and believes Isaac lied to him so he could have Chris all to himself. Nigel is furious and doesn’t believe Isaac and takes off, heartbroken by what he saw. Isaac is devastated at the situation but Chris doesn’t wanna care too much and takes off again

CBS Ghosts Theory 👻☘️🧛🦉

I have an idea that Sassapis doesn’t remember how he died. Either from a head trauma of his death or it was just too traumatic for him.

Thorfinn doesn’t know cause he wasn’t there at the scene. But the ghosts know who to asks—Shiki!

Pete or Sam could go over and ask Shiki how Sassapis died.

CBS Ghosts: Isaac x Chris Theories👻💨🪂🦖🦕

okay, so now that Chris is a ghost and Isaac is probably exciting. Here’s how I think it might go

Chris gets along great with the other ghosts who are fascinated by him. However, Isaac is a stuttering, blushing mess who tries to talk to Chris but end up walking away. The ghosts talk Isaac into trying to be confident with Chris. However, I think Isaac would see that Chris is struggling with being a ghost. He realizes Chris needs a friend right now, not a boyfriend. (This shows Isaac wants to change and be a better person.)

They would get along well great. And I think eventually Isaac gains the courage to ask Chris on a date which he says yes. Isaac would get them a table at Jay’s restaurant and it would be so cute. Chris thinks Isaac is adorable and Isaac is so enamored by him.

it would be interesting seeing Nigel’s jealousy especially since Chris is the reason for their break up. It’s be funny if Nigel and Chris don’t like each other as a Brits vs Aussies kind of dynamic.

Or perhaps Chris ends up falling for Nigel or even Jenkins for the hell of it. This storyline could go different ways. It’d be funny to see where it goes

CBS Ghosts Theories🍀🎤👻🐌👊🧛🏽‍♂️

I have an idea that Elias tricks the main ghosts in the season finale and all them end up going to hell. It’s like a Mad Max meets Back to the Future part 2 alternate timeline meets the Good Place type of hell. And the first few episodes of the next season is them trying to make it back to earth battling demons and scary spirits while Sam and Jay are trying to gather all of their items to summon them back.

CBS Ghosts Headcanons 👖⚡️🦉🏹👻

I hope everyone has a good week. Here are some new headcanons (some are sad some are cute)

Hetty is multilingual in Italian, French, and Spanish as she studied in her youth, hoping to travel to those countries

Alberta claims to have partied with famous figures during the 20s such as Babe Ruth, Coco Chanel, Pablo Picasso, etc.

Thorfinn spent years completely isolated as the living couldn’t see him and there were no ghosts around. He mainly used animals or rocks as imaginary friends similar to Castaway

Water goes right through the ghosts and they never get drenched. They can go under the rain and swim in the lake, and they’re completely dry afterwards.

Surprisingly, Pete was a smoker when he was alive but luckily he quit once Laura was born.

Trevor was a jock in middle school and high school, playing football, basketball, and baseball. He took up golf when he went to college.

Isaac states his favorite movie is 1996’s Scream, making everyone think he’s a fan of horror movies. In reality, he has on crushes on the actors, Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lilliard, and David Arquette

Flower actually had a baby during the cult but she couldn’t keep her baby as she knew the cult life wasn’t good for her. She gave her daughter up for adoption but Flower keeps this as a secret as it breaks her heart.

Sassapis mainly fished or set up traps and snares, but he hardly ever hunted when he was alive.

The ghosts can’t feel a pulse or bleed or anything. But they can feel certain bodily functions related to how they die.

Alberta was an alcoholic when she was alive but she’s officially sober after becoming a ghosts.

The gay puritan ghost at the Farnsby’s still occasionally calls out for Isaac though Isaac ignores him.

Hetty tries to teach Thorfinn proper grammar and dialect when they first met, but he remains in his usual speech pattern.

Sam has a playlist all of their favorite songs for the ghosts to listen to.

Pete and Flower know how to drive stick shift as that’s how cars were like during their eras

Sassapis struggled with English as a ghost but he picked it up quickly as Isaac taught him.

During his living days, Trevor used to be really homophobic but he changed his ways when he had a cousin who came out as gay and Trevor became his biggest ally.

CBS Ghosts Powers Theories 👻🔪🏹🔫☠️⚰️

I’m curious on the other ghosts’ powers that we haven’t figured out yet. So here’s my take on what their powers could be

Other Ghosts Powers Theories

Hetty: I have three ideas. 

Because every time she mentions hell, Elias appears or goes back. Maybe she does possess the ability to bring and send people to hell but she doesn’t have full control over it.

Hetty can been seen by the living. This would be an interesting idea on how people sometimes see ghosts out of the corner of their eye. Hetty could be able to appear as a mist or ghostly form to the human eye if she concentrates hard enough.

Hetty can control the living if they walk through her. We’ve never seen Sam, Jay, or any living walk through Hetty. I believe if they walk through Hetty, she has full mind control over them, making do whatever she wants. Hetty is a boss woman and the lady of the house and used to giving orders so it makes sense if she can command the living to do what she wants.

Stephanie: Two ideas

Stephanie makes people experience nostalgia as she is young and lived in the 80s. When people walk through her, she probably makes them feel a sense of nostalgia and tap into their childhoods as she is still a minor

Stephanie has the power of Mean Girl Mode. She can make the living turn on each other even if they’re lifelong friends, relatives, or significant others. She can control them into arguing and insulting each other.

Nigel: I think Nigel had a spidey sense. Since he died from an unexpected gunshot, Nigel can immediately sense when danger is near or something traumatic is about to happen. Since he couldn’t stop his own demise, he can prevent others from danger or death. He might’ve sense when all the ghosts after him were going to die but he wasn’t there to prevent it from happening.

Jenkins: Jenkins seems like negative person most of the time so I believe his power has to do with his personality. He has the ability to put the living in a negative mood, influencing their decisions and seeing negative aspects on any subject.

Baxter: I think Baxter has a power similar to Alberta. His flute can be heard by the living when he plays it

Carol: two ideas

Since Carol didn’t stay loyal to Pete and has had multiple partners, I believe Carol can make the living want to cheat on their partners or break their loyalties to others similar to Elias’ power

Since Carol died from choking on a doughnut hole, I believe she can make the living feel like they’re choking out of nowhere.

CBS Ghosts: Fighting Style 👊🤺🔪🏹🔫

here’s how I think the ghosts are skilled when it comes to physical fights

Thor: Thor is the deadliest amongst the ghosts, trained in both armed and unarmed combat. He is trained in Glima, which is common type of wrestling with Vikings. It involves takedowns, kicking, and choking. Thor is always quick to tackle his opponents down or strike them with his axe, he possesses a high pain tolerance, and shows no mercy.

Sassapis: Sas is trained in archery, spears, and wooden war clubs. When it comes to combat, Sas uses grappling and striking techniques, particularly elbow and knee strikes. Sassapis is always best with his bow and arrow, and is swift and quick when fighting.

Isaac: Isaac is reliant on weapons as he was trained in armed combat during the war. He’s exceptionally skilled in pistols and rifles, and knives when necessary. If out of ammo, he would use his gun for hitting his opponent. If unarmed, Isaac can pack a punch but will find something to use a weapon.

Hetty: Hetty didn’t have any form training for combat. She has seen her fair share of boxing matches during her living days. Hetty knows how to punch and block but is quick to slap faces, stomp on feet, and kick groins.

Alberta: Alberta got into many fights in her childhood with bullies and others. She is more of a brawler with quick jabs, upper cuts, and hooks. Alberta can easily dodge attacks and block incoming attacks. Alberta usually throws insults while fighting just to annoy her opponent

Flower: Flower is not a violent person but she will defend herself if necessary. Flower is messy but fierce as she uncontrollably punches, kicks, bites, and scratches until her opponent is down.

Pete: Pete has never been in a fight but can perform in unarmed combat thanks to Thorfinn’s advice. Along with that, Pete was a fan of pro-wrestling so he will pull someone in a headlock and throw them on the ground. However, he shows mercy and wants a fair fight with no dirty tricks.

Trevor: Trevor did karate as a kid and remembered a few moves. When he was alive, he took kickboxing classes at the gym. He mostly uses his legs whether it was calf kick, back kick, side kick, or straight up front kick. Plus, Trevor got into some dirty fights as a kid and teenager which he won most of the time.

you think Sam and Jay would make more money if they tell guests the mansion is haunted? I mean, people would spend lots of money to stay in haunted houses over night. Then, they have the ghosts use their powers to sell it. I think they would do great as a haunted mansion Airbnb experience
