ok but rewatching tros... cut finnpoe scenes actually make sense? poe being jealous about whatever finn was going to say to rey - just outright never got resolved. they never went back to explain it despite being the final movie. that SCREAMS "they cut stuff out". whats the bet there was a whole sequence of scenes after that where finn talked to rey about what he actually wanted to say (force sensitive boii) and finn explains to poe that he and rey are just friends, also that he loves him. 1/2

2/2 but also their conflicts never really got a resolution either? they were just good with each other again. i mean you could definitely argue that was because theyre incapable of being mad at each other so when they were scared for each others lives, all was immediately forgiven BUT you could also argue that an angsty confession scene was snipped right out and thats why there were so many jarring scene changes.

YES. THIS. Tbh tros left me with MORE questions than answers because of stuff like this. The whole convo with Finn & Rey being one of the main ones. Plot lines just seemed half finished and a little rushed/confusing. I also agree with the whole Finn & Poe arguing thing because that was something I thought about myself. The words they exchanged were quite harsh and I just don’t believe that these two character who care so deeply about each other would just blow over it and pretend it didn’t happen. I’m also so convinced that the scene that replicates the shoulder touch in tfa was cut to “no homo” them because that’s one of the most iconic finnpoe scenes from the first movie. 

AND too add on to the scene changes the whole exchange between Jannah & Lando was also a little odd. We now know that she is his daughter (the visual dictionary confirmed that I believe). But without that confirmation in the movie that last scene of those two seems a little off.  

There is a whole bunch of stuff missing that we saw in trailers, bts photos (like the one of Rey & Rose), featuretts, and now books. Which that’s normal in film making of course for things to get cut but some of the things we didn’t get are….interesting.
