Anyone have the gifās of the Chilean goalkeeper Christiane Endler lifting two of her teammates with ease.

THATāS THE POINT THOUGH.
Theyāre children.Ā Theyāre literally students sitting in class.Ā Theyāre 14, maybe 15 years old (I canāt remember which season specifically this is from).
Thatās what grooming is.Ā An adult, who is fully aware of what theyāre doing, taking advantage of a teenager or a child and manipulating them or brainwashing them because theyāre too young to actually understand whatās happening.
Tiffany thinks heās talking about gardening.Ā And even when Quinn is relating and thinking back on the story, she still doesnāt really understand what was going on.Ā It wasnāt until her older sister and mom could process the scene through their adult brains that consequences were had.
It shouldnāt be the responsibility of children to recognize when theyāre being groomed/gaslit/manipulated/etc.
^^^^^
This is exactly why young girls can never be āfast.ā Itās not possible. They were either taken advantage of or groomed.
āwhen im 20 heāll be 25ā but you arent???? 20. youre 15??? and he is 20????????? why is a 20 year old into 15 year olds
Real talk I wish someone hadāve woken me up to this stuff when I was 16.
Signs of a heart attack are different for each gender yet we only really teach the male warning signs. Make sure youāre aware of both and spread it to as many other women as possible!
EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE TAKEN A CPR CLASS I have had to be that person who points out that the training videos ALWAYS frame theĀ āmaleā symptoms as the default universal heart attack experience, while theĀ āfemaleā symptoms are framed as though theyāre a deviation from the norm, rather than the primary symptom set that cis women experience.Ā
ALSO:Ā I just showed this post to my roommate, who is an MD at a clinic that specializes in care for the LGBT community in the Baltimore area. I asked herĀ whether hormones were responsible for the difference in theĀ āmale/femaleā symptom arrays. I asked how that would apply to her trans patients (which, she treats a LOT of trans patients). She said, basically, that the longer youāve taken testosterone the more likely you are to get the intense chest pressure and the arm pain, versus the upper back pressure and shortness of breath.
Obviously I am not a doctor myself, consult your own health care provider, etc.
Reblogging this comment because this is the FIRST TIME Iāve ever seen someone address what XYZ medical condition would look like in trans patients. Also this is partly why my great-grandma died: the (male) doctor dismissed her heart attack as basically indigestion, because she didnāt have the typical male symptoms.
Oh my God someone was able to answer the trans patient question!
im crying
Do you know how many dogs Iāve met that get scared or anxious around men because in their previous home men hit them? A lot, and they are very protective of the women who have adopted them now.
Men who are violent towards women are often violent towards animals as well. They think weāre all chattel. If a man wants you to choose between your dog or cat or him, dump the guy. Those animals will love you for the rest of your life, loyal and true.
Actually, I have something to add.
The other day I saw a story where a woman was asking why her dogs had suddenly started growling at her boyfriend whenever he was in the same room as her son.
And my immediate thought was āthat boyfriend has hurt the kid somehow.ā
Spoilers: that was exactly the case.
Trust ur dogs when they say something is off.
The first time my sister came to visit, via plane, after I got my dog, pupper growled at her and wouldnāt go near her for the first day. Next visit was by car (two day drive)and pupper LOVED my sister. They snuggled and played and none of us could figure out why the change. We thought maybe the scent of my sisters cat had lingered on her clothes, making that first visit a rough one. Whereas when she came by car, the scent had had time to wear off. Well that was partially trueā¦
Fast forward about six months when I went north to visit my family. My sister walked into my parentsā house and pupper ran to greet my sister. Stopped dead in her tracks and started growling and barking. Hackles raised, full protection mode. My sisters husband had just walked in behind her.
My precious puppy wanted NOTHING to do with him. She barked, growled, ran away, and sat between him and my sister. Y'all my dog had spent maybe a weekend a half around my sister but protected her like this was her flesh and blood.
Eventually, my sister filed for divorce on grounds of āExtreme and repeated mental, emotional, and sexual abuse.ā Divorce was final in less than a month because her claims were substantiated.
Trust the dog, honey. They KNOW.
Iāve never owned dogs, but I used to work with horses (which are a lot like big dogs).
There was this one horse I worked with named Tonto. He was a doll. He followed me like a puppy, snuck treats out of my pocket, he was the sweetest thing. We were practically inseparable.
A guy I was considering dating came to visit me one day, and Tonto wanted NOTHING to do with him. Normally well behaved, he shoved himself between us and would NOT let this guy near me. He was stomping, acting really aggressive, and tried to bite the guy. This horse was practically dragging me back toward the barn. At that moment, despite being like, 17, I knew something was up, and ultimately things didnāt pan out for guy and me.
A year later I found out he had lied about his age (he said he was 18 but he was actually 27) he was arrested for sexually assaulting an 11 year old girl.
TRUST THE ANIMALS.
ALWAYS TRUST THE BABS
Animals recognize predators.
The reply with the mastiff gets me every single time. Iām not a dog person but my god, they are Good Animals.

Friendly reminder that if you shake hands with a guy you shouldnāt eat or touch your face until youāve washed your hands.
this isnt some Feminist Joke, btw, they basically teach this in food safety since so many guys think its fine to not wash their hands after theyāve touched their dick
My advice to people, but especially kids, who are invested in celebrities, be they actors, musicians, bloggers, youtubers, authors, whatever, is to keep your distance. No matter how happy their content makes you, no matter how strong the pull of a special interest/hyperfixation/obsession might be, itās important to step back every so often.
Do you find yourself following them on all forms of social media? Do you follow their friends and family, who might not even make content themselves? Do you research their lives? Step back. Just because they are famous doesnāt mean itās okay to engage in stalking behavior.
[EDIT: I feel I should not have used the word āstalking hereā as stalking is unwanted surveillance and itās unfair to say this behavior is definitely stalking. But the message stays that researching every aspect of a strangerās life and digitally following them everywhere is, even if itās not intrusive to them, a little much, no?]
Do you find yourself getting anxious if you miss a video, or they upload off schedule? Step back. I know they can help you through dark times but you canāt rely on them all the time.
Would you be devastated if they turned out to be a not-so-nice person? Step back. You can only trust them as much as you trust any stranger. Donāt see yourself up to be shattered if they fall off that pedestal you put them on.
No matter how much somebody interacts with their audience, the relationship is still parasocial. Just keep that in mind. Donāt put all your trust in a stranger. Itās okay to enjoy these people and their content, but keep your distance and step back.
