When someone says they have âno filterâ theyâre really telling you they have no self control or respect.
ok so since the Russo brothers confirmed that animals and plants and the like all died in the snap,,,,,,, that means dogs died too,,,,, and lemme tell ya if ANYTHING happened to my dog earth wouldnât even NEED the avengers Iâd mcfucking d e s t r o y thanos myself because NO ONE FUCKING MESSES WITH MY DOG NOT EVEN A CRUSTY ASS RAISIN WITH A ROCK COLLECTION
Me, after watching my cat turn to dust: :)
Every single (living) Avenger, getting tf out of my way: How is she holding that many knives
Please reblog.
C'mon itâs not only pride month itâs indigenous peoples month!!! My people!!!! Could the president honestly fuck off?
Just searching for a place Iâll fit in.
I like that at some point a human looked at a sheep and went âoh man that looks warm, I wish I was that warmâ and then stole all its hair
I want to touch you so badly I donât know how to even reach out. Iâll never know how to say it: how sunk I am in this love for you, how salty, how sweet.
Cristin OâKeefe Aptowicz, from âOctober,â The Year of No Mistakes (via mortalpractice)
the thing about âwell-behaved women rarely make history" is that the author, Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, didnât write it about women who would be considered âbadly-behaved;â she wrote it in a book about a midwife, about women who had been largely ignored and erased from history because as a result of their âgood behaviour.â So itâs not a âBAD GIRLS DO IT WELL" kind of quote; itâs a reminder to respect and pay attention to the women who go about quietly living their lives.
itâs a reminder to respect and pay attention to the women who go about quietly living their lives.
The thing that gets me about Aileen Wuornos is that sheâs only famous because women arenât violent. All the other âbig hitterâ serial killers had 35+ bodies counts, or would torture their victims in crazy ways, or something memorable and awful like that. But Aileen Wuornos gets put on that list and is called âone of the most cold blooded killers in American historyâ for doing things no one would even acknowledge a man doing.
Like think of the reverse; a guy shoots 7 prostitutes over the course of a year. Would that even get news coverage? Maybe locally, but would he be well known at all? The only thing thatâd be considered odd or âworth talking aboutâ is that he only shot women, and didnât torture, rape, and violently murder them (ex: strangling, stabbing, hunting, etc.) like most male killers do.
Murder is murder, she did some evil shit, but it seems pretty obvious to me that she is only famous so men can pretend women are as violent as them.
A few details for those who donât know:
â˘Her father raped and attempted to murder a 7 year old while she was an infant, her mother was extremely neglectful up until she abandoned her, and her grandfather/adoptive father would psychologically abuse her (treating her much worse than his other children, drowning her pet cat in front of her, etc)and would brutally whip her almost daily, from her early childhood into her adolescence. (Source: Wuornos herself and her childhood friend, Dawn Botkins)
â˘She been raped dozens of times by the time she was 18, by her grandfather (unproven but experts on the case and childhood friends believe itâs EXTREMELY likely), by classmates (older boys at her school had convinced her to prostitute herself at age 11 for cigarettes, earning her constant harassment and the nickname âcig pigâ across the school. Verified by multiple classes), by a family friend (resulting in pregnancy at the age of just 14, after which she was sent to a home for unwed mothers, gave birth to a boy named Keith she gave up for adoption, and was thrown out upon returning home)
⢠14 and homeless, she lived in the woods with other abandoned children, they often slept in forts, or at best in neighbors abandoned cars when they were allowed. (Verified by multiple people who knew her as a child. The whole town was aware that her and many other children lived in the woods, including teachers and social workers, yet no one attempted to help)
⢠Dropped out in 9th grade, after which she became a child prostitute and drifter.
⢠Around age 18 she discovered the decapitated and dismembered corpse of a young girl while trying to sleep under a bridge outside of Chicago. She immediately sought help from a passing trucker who was unsympathetic and drove off without helping. (This event was never proved to be true, but isnât unlikely)
â˘At the time of her execution she was undeniably psychotic, showing little if any understanding of reality. (Source: see for yourself https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9ytpB-lOBQ remember, she had already been sentenced to death and had no reason to lie)
I REPEAT: SHE WAS, WITHOUT A DOUBT, COMPLETELY INSANE, YET WAS STILL EXECUTED (read:murdered) BY THE US GOVERNMENT
â˘Gary Ridgway was convicted of murdering 49, confessed to murdering 71, and is believed to have been involved in the murders of 90+ women and girls, most of who were prostitutes and child runaways. (Source: Himself and his prosecutors)
â˘His victims ranged from age 15 (likely younger as many adolescent âJane Doeâ victims have yet to be identified) to age 38. (Source: ^)
â˘He never showed signs of insanity, just extreme narcissism and lack of empathy (Source: prosecution)
â˘He was never executed. I guess he just wasnât as dangerous.
I guess my ideal woman is the newly married, kind of ugly girl who is in every class at every community college who always tries to talk about how her husband is in Iraq. After mentioning him twice to the class within the first day, she feels comfortable enough to refer to him by first his name. If the teacher is talking about economics, she will interrupt to say something like, âTravis had a really good book about economics. I think he took it with him to Iraq. Iâll call him over Skype tonight and ask.â The teacher will continue the lecture without comment and the married girl will wait like a rat trap in extreme anticipation for the next time she will be able to talk about her husband who is in Iraq.
She is my ideal woman because I want to be her husband so I can die in Iraq and never have to see her again.Â
happy womenâs history month!
from a fashion school dropout standpoint fashion in The X Files is something i do love and id so like to share .. personal favorites include seasons 4-7, for most memorable, legendary fashion forward looks and key moments. in seasons 4 and 5 Mulder and Scully only wear those long thick black trench coats layered over their clothes and they look really serious and warm. Hot. Season 7 Scully went ahead and bought her own self a leather jacket to match Mulderâs and now they walk around like everyday is Louis Vuitton f/w 2000 in hot black leather. Yum. Arcadia when Mulder wore a PINK Lacoste polo with a NAVY Lacoste sweater draped over his shoulders? FOLLOWED BY an entire head to toe Ralph Lauren classic? then he had the audacity to throw in a sweater VEST? all in the span of like 10 minutes? im holding onto my tits for dear life. Scullyâs green turtleneck with the quarter sleeves in all things was simple elegant and timeless. Iâm gay. Everyone always has something to say about how Mulderâs suits are too big for him but jokes on you because i was there when Giorgio Armani HIMSELF gave Mulder the gift of life by putting his huge square body into one of his navy blue single breasted jackets. Donât even get me STARTED on Scullyâs CINCHED waist in that black jacket in Fight the Future OR Mulderâs white tee-denim jeans-timbs triple threat in both demons AND the truth. we absolutely do stan runway icons can I get a hell yeah today
Super Dad
Conclusion: human evolution has always depended in part upon some unassuming fatherâs ability to literally backflip his child out of the jaws of death.
