Hesci! Kocecvmpv cvhocefkv tos! I’m a 2Spirit/Queer Indigenous mother, artist, jewelry maker, fashion designer, astrologer, fortune teller, and eclectic witch. The purpose of this blog is mostly to share my witchy practice and to research the practices of other witches. So, there will be a lot of reposts of content I want to reference later. But, I will also be offering my own spellcrafting process and recipes to those who are interested. In addition to this, I’d like to share my musings, opinions, and writings concerning modern witchcraft.

Reminder that:

The Christianization of Europe and the witch hunts are two completely separate things.

The witch hunts took place in the early modern period, well after Europe was Christianized.

The witch hunts were driven by conspiracy theories. It's literally a predecessor of QAnon.

Many conspiracy theories of the witch hunts were repurposed antisemitic conspiracy theories. (For example, blood libel and Satan worship.)

Lots of Christians practiced folk magic. They didn't usually call themselves witches.

Witchcraft was associated with polytheistic religions by Christians. Polytheists didn't call themselves witches. Whatever they were doing, they had their own words for it.

Modern witchcraft is a modern construct. It is not a revival of a genuine pre-Christian tradition of any kind.

Modern witchcraft cannot be "colonized" because it's literally a modern creation made by white people. However, modern witches are capable of doing colonialism, such as when they promote pseudohistory about other cultures.

06/05/2026 - Possible Burnout?

Hey! Y’all might’ve noticed I haven’t been posting my daily single card tarot readings, or posting any updates about my online store or any witchcraft I’ve been working on. I needed to have a break, and now I’m struggling to get back into being productive.

Hopefully, I’ll resolve that issue soon. It’s just so hard to peel my lazy body from this bed. Pictured above are the only witchcraft stuff I’ve been doing. Drawing up a bunch of sigils on the left and embroidering them into my clothes by hand on the right!

Single Card Daily Reading

06/01/2026 - Inverted Ace of Pentacles

Skipped yesterday’s reading. I was simply too busy!

My interpretation of this card:

This card kinda has me stumped. I foresee some issues with my small business. Missed opportunities or financial blunders. But, not much is happening with my business right now cause I still haven’t opened my Etsy store or take pictures of my new products.

So, that’s the best I can come up with today. I feel kinda out of it. Let me know if you see something I missed!

Full Moon in Sagittarius! ♐️

05/31/2026 - Blue Moon/Micro Moon

Just a quick peek at what I did tonight. I drew a sigil of productivity (pictured right) and I’m using that sigil for charging full moon water. I am also using this special blue moon/micro moon to charge these productivity oils I made! (on the left)

Not pictured: my partner and I finished the confidence charm I started last week. He started a fire, I threw in the herbs, and he cleansed the necklace with the smoke. Fun little ritual. I just hope it helps with his interview.

My witchy evening last night!

All done in preparation for the full moon on Sunday. This moon is also a micromoon and a blue moon! So I do feel the pressure to do so much witchcraft tonight. But, I also feel extremely lazy!

No Single Card Daily Reading for today! I just wasn’t feeling up for it today. This breaks my streak of the last few weeks, but I’m just listening to what my body needs.

Single Card Daily Reading

05/30/2026 - Inverted Nine of Cups

.˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳.

Not feeling super well today. I need to get up and get some stuff done, but I’ve been napping for most of the day since I’m feeling so bad. Our son is with my in-laws, and I could really be using this time to start all the ribbon skirts I need to make, or I could bead, or I could at least get some cleaning done! But, no. I’ve been sleeping like crazy.

Ugh. Anyway, here’s what I think about this card:

I was a little unsure with this one. Based on some reading, I’d say this card is warning me not to disregard my current blessings. Though I have gained a lot, I’m still unhappy with what I have.

And, I could say thats true. I keep wanting more but I don’t feel like I’m taking the steps to fulfill my wishes. I keep talking about my business, but I’m not putting enough effort into it. So, I guess I’ll work harder and try to appreciate my life as it is?

Anyway, I think I’m just gonna post this short little description and move on. I can’t really focus today. I’m feeling really lazy. Like I’m wasting time.

A Witchy Morning…

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆

Just sharing how I spent my morning today. The picture on the left is the current setup I have on my altar. On the right is my “special witchy breakfast”.

I’ve been maintaining this setup for the past week with the intention of charging a necklace I’m making for my partner. It’s a chinaberry necklace, and I’m imbuing this piece with bold confidence. The colors of the beads correspond with feelings of abundance, confidence, financial security, and great success. I’m charging the necklace with citrine and quartz crystals as well. I’m hoping this necklace will help him on a really important job interview coming up!

My altar is pretty small, so I have to move these items every morning to conduct my daily tarot reading, and then move them back. It’s a little annoying, but it’s just what I have to do. Occasionally, I’ll spritz the set up with New Moon charged water to imbue well wishes for this new opportunity. I’m really hoping he gets this job.

My breakfast on the right might not seem very “aesthetic” or “witchy”, but I’m beginning to realize how important it is to nourish my body as a part of my witchy practice. Often, I’ll shove a turkey sandwich in my mouth and wash it down with a Coke between feeding the baby and changing his diaper. It’s easy to let go of caring for yourself when you’re caring for another person. But, being a mom, it’s even more important now to eat healthier. I’ll be a role model for my son, and I need to be healthy to keep up with him as he grows older. On the magical side of things, taking care of your body is the best way to replenish your spiritual energy!

I started this morning with two pieces of sourdough crispy bread smeared with avocado sprinkled with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. I also made a cup of vanilla spice tea with sugar and oat milk. A lot healthier than what I normally consume!

Single Card Daily Reading

05/29/2026 - Two of Swords

.˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳.

Another day, another tarot reading. I have so much to do today, but I’m really excited for the full moon tomorrow! I’ll have the morning/afternoon baby-free cause my in-laws are babysitting tonight! Hopefully, I’ll get a lot done for my business and my witchy practice.

Anyway, here is my interpretation for today’s card:

This card is a little tricky for me, because I don’t have a big decision to make currently. At least, I don’t think I do. With this card, I often see two distinct paths. I see a decision that forks one’s fate. This or that. Option A or Option B.

Perhaps this card is warning me that a big decision will have to be made in the future. A situation may arise where I do have to decide between two paths. Will it be two equally good outcomes to choose from? Or, maybe two equally bad? I’m not sure.

Yeah, this card is really stumping me, but this does happen with tarot. Sometimes, you just can’t see the relevancy of a reading, especially with single card readings where you can’t pull any additional cards for elaboration. If I weren’t strictly following a routine of only pulling one card every morning, I would draw two additional cards. One on each side of the Two of Swords, each representing the difficult choices that would have to be determined.

Maybe I should have done that, but I believe that defeats the purpose I have ascribed to this daily routine. Regardless, I’d love to know what you think!

Hey! I’m not offering free tarot readings, or free divination services of any kind. I’ve considered selling my divination services before, but I’m not entirely comfortable with conducting these services online. Maybe I will sell them in the future if I ever feel comfortable with it, but I will never be providing these services online for free. Divination is a practice that requires a lot of time and spiritual/mental energy. I’ve spent years memorizing the meanings behind the cards and developing my own interpretations. It’s a specialized skill, and I would be doing a disservice to myself by not charging compensation for this service.

Single Card Daily Reading

05/28/2026 - Ace of Wands

.˳·˖✶𓆩𓁺𓆪✶˖·˳.

Had to write this up super late in the night. I spent all day driving to visit my mom and then driving back. After that, I took a big step in a witchy project I’m doing, which I will share the details of in a separate blog post later.

Until then, here is a quick interpretation of this card:

When I see the suit of wands in any reading, I immediately think “action”. This morning, I was not feeling very good. I suffered from a big migraine last night and I’m sick with a sore throat and sinus drainage as I write this. However, I had made plans to drive 2 hours to my nation’s capital to replace my tribal id card and to also see my mom. Overcome with sickness, I texted to cancel my plans with my mom. But, after drawing this card, I knew I couldn’t back down from my plans. I felt this card was encouraging to push past the temporary pain of illness and get this important task done!

So, I did just that, and I’m glad that I did! I was able to get some supplies I needed for jewelry while I was down these, which was really important for my business. Specifically, I was able to harvest more chinaberries. Not a lot, but enough to hopefully make another batch of necklaces for my online store. I’m glad I made the trip, even if I’m feeling exhausted now.

Aside from what I needed to do today, I also think this card is urging me to explore more ideas I have for my business. This card oozes untapped creativity just waiting to be utilized. I have a few ideas for new products for my shop, specifically involving witchcraft, and I think this card is a positive sign that I should try to make these products. Even if they don’t sell, trying won’t hurt!

Anyway, I’m gonna wrap this up here. I’m glad I did write this all up at the end of the day, cause I was able to elaborate on how drawing this card affected my decisions and how my entire day unfolded around this card. Thanks for reading!

Difference Between Charms, Enchantments, Amulets, and Talismans

Charms: A charm's main magical purpose is to bring about luck, happiness, love, good fortune, health, etc. It isn't strong magic, but it's something. Ex.: "See a penny, pick it up, and all the day you'll have good luck", that's a charm and it's said by school children all the time. It's an object that is spoken over to give it a little bit of magic. It doesn't have to rhyme, and it can be whispered, but it can help bring about a minor magical intention. (It's like the first-level armor you get in a video game. It's not strong, but it helps)

Enchantments: Enchantments are usually worn or carried and the objects are themselves magic. They are wearable or portable spells that effect the wearer/carrier. They can have a much larger effect than charms can, however, they are a bit more complex in the making - creating a spell, speaking over it, and whatnot.

Amulets Amulets are magical objects that protect people from evil spirits, negative energy, disease or illness, general harm, bad luck, etc. People believe that the amulet has some kind of magical power that protects the person possessing the charm.

Amulets are all different types, which includes herbs, stone, garlic, coal, horseshoes, plant or animal parts, coins, or any other metals. Amulets also include various signs and symbols. Amulets can be of the general type or can be personalized or changed according to the person going to use them.

It is often used in the form of jewelry so that it stays within the person every time and the chances of losing it becomes negligible. Amulets are natural objects and do not harm anyone. They improve the quality of life of a person having it as they satisfy the natural desired of the individual.

Talismans Talismans are magical objects supposed to give strength and power to the person possessing them. People also believe that it provides some kind of magical abilities to the person having it.

Talismans are natural amplifiers. They boost up the energy and empower the people leading them to make the right choices. Talisman is usually in a single piece, made up of gemstone or any other crystals. Talisman is a magical charm that can be customized or changed according to the person.

The talisman can be personalized according to the requirement. Some of them are supposed to bring joy and happiness, some of them bring health, some bring good quality of life, and so on.
