Hi, I’m from Ukraine!
I’ve been on tumblr for 15+ years and don’t plan on stopping, because fandom is one of the few things that brings me immense joy, and joy is scarce right now. russians keeps killing my people, destroying our land, torturing prisoners of war, kidnapping our children and lying about it all, like they did for centuries.
I post a bit about the war because it’s my daily reality, but mostly I post fandom, because I feel like the war posts are reblogged mostly by fellow Ukrainians and they just retrigger us + this is not a news blog for me, but a blog dedicated to fandom & stuff that makes me happy.
However, it would mean a lot to me if you can acknowledge that “your yaoi is written from the bunker” © Please remember that we’re being genocided and Ukraine needs your support – just the acknowledgement of the truth of what happens is already a lot.
If you’re unable to donate, you can still help. Like this article explains: you can also protest, contact your representatives, stop supporting russian brands/culture, engage with Ukrainian culture instead.
