kitae looked around the room as if looking for someone that was just as mock offended as he was by the comment, even though it was just the two of them there. “well, i’m so sorry?” he scoffed, turning his head away completely for a few seconds before looking back at riley with a playful smile taking over his features. “we are probably the most fast moving friendship group ever, you have a point. but no one’s worse than you, mr vegas wedding.”

riley watched his friend in amusement, eyebrows raised and smile slowly growing. “well, true.” he shrugged. “shut up. just because jimin and i had the most iconic way to get married... it’s okay, i know everyone’s jealous.” he joked.

“babe, we’re married.” jimin pointed out with a tilt of her head and a little laugh, taking the opportunity to tease him. she moved over from the doorway she’d entered from, coming to sit down in her husband’s lap, an arm loosely wrapping around his shoulders. “…what if i told you i’m pregnant?” she couldn’t resist teasing him some more, trying to sound as serious as she could.

riley was stumped for a moment. “i- well... well, we’re still young!” he protested. his arms instinctively wrapped around her when she sat on his lap. “... you’re what?” his eyebrows shot up in surprise. he couldn’t tell if she was joking or not.

“you know what...” riley spoke, having been silently thinking the entire time. “don’t take this the wrong way, but i feel like we’re all getting so old right now. everyone is getting married and having babies left and right, and it’s throwing me off.”

“you’re a grown man.” ambrose replied, looking unimpressed by the bag. only seconds later, he was reaching for it, grabbing it from riley. “nothing worse, i’m trying to behave tonight.” he took one bit of candy from the bag, then handing it back to him.

“says the grown man stealing the candy.” he huffed, watching as ambrose opened the bag to take one. “fair enough. maybe i’ll think of something worse for later.” riley joked. “admit it, though. that was fun.”

“i’m just mad that you dragged me into it.” ambrose huffed, out of breath and a little sweaty. “did you have to pick something so fast paced? your competitive ass calling on my ride or die friendship with you is going to actually kill me someday.”

“yes, i had to win. rin was giving out candy bags, you think i’ll say no to winning?” he chuckled, waving the bag he’d just won. “don’t be so dramatic, i could’ve pulled you into something worse.”

riley cleared his throat multiple times, looking dramatic as he usually did. “think i just ruined my voice for tonight?” he asked the person next to him, his voice already sounding pretty scratchy after his karaoke battle against yoongi. “i think i overdid it. but his ass is pretty competitive, i had to pull all the stops.”

“you ripped your pants on the slopes?!” riley asked in disbelief and amusement all at the same time. “i would like to see video evidence of that.”

“huh??” riley looked at him with shock and confusion, not understanding how that even happened. “what the fuck? you’re the person who’s most clearly gay, i don’t get how she didn’t see it.”
