I can imagine it! Alfred does seems to be the kind of shy, discreet person with a low self-esteem, kinda in Abronsius’s shadow, but who does want to be noticed, so of course he would crave compliments and definitely have a praise kink. Nothing get him so much more in a mood than getting praised and being told he’s doing so good and how lovely he is, by his lover!
