For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.

When people say "America sneezes, and the UK catches a cold" they. Are. Not. Joking.
The UK has nineteen ICE teams.
Labour is pushing immigration policy to try and secure voters from the far right, because Reform is rising in the polls.
9 million people in the UK are at risk of deportation because of policy they're quietly releasing. Reform is promising to deport swathes if they're elected. Conservatives will follow that line too.
"Secure Borders UK" is now an official TikTok account where they brag about deportation numbers. Plans to convert large builds into immigration housing centres to get asylum seekers out of hotels. Buildings not built for humans to live in, but for storage, or livestock. Not. People.
They are demonising ethnic minorities, labelling car washes, nail salons, barber shops as immigrant hot spots, infamously working class occupations. They're going after the minorities, then the poor people, then anyone and everyone else.
Reform, Nigel Farage has vowed to leave the European Convention on Human Rights if he becomes Prime Minister. You learn about the ECHR when you are fourteen, it is part of your Citizenship GCSE, because it is a vital foundation of our human rights. Without it, there is nothing stopping us from losing all humanity, all liberty, all basic human decency, and humane treatment.
The Digital ID Kier Starmer keeps pushing is only the next step in the surveillance state the technically illiterate politicians keep pushing, and it is dangerous for a multitude of reasons, but at it's core is that they do not understand technology, yet are integrating it at speeds that will devastate our country. It's kept quiet, but you can find evidence of several data leaks, hacks, and releases just in the past few months.
Kemi Badenoch is a puppet for the Conservatives. They do not care that she is a Black woman beyond gaining favor from Black voters. None of the ethnic minority politicians are going to save you, they are defecting to Reform or actively campaigning for laws that will oppress you.
We are rapidly mirroring America's political climate. This next election is not between Labour and the Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and UKIP don't stand a chance. Tactical voting has been employed for decades now, playing between Labour and Conservatives. Now it is between the Green Party, and Reform. Don't believe the propaganda—the Greens aren't going to tax you, their harsher economic policy is aimed at the billionaires. You don't have to agree with their policies, but it is between environmental conservation, or largescale violation of human rights.
Open your eyes.
If you don't want to be like America, like Minnesota, like Minneapolis, protesting in the streets, hiding your neighbours, watching people be kidnapped in broad daylight irregardless of citizenship, then pull your head out of the sand.
Political apathy, voter apathy is a thing of the past.

I am really freaked out about what I’ve heard the poles as of May are saying. Apparently people will be focusing on a top three of conservatives, labour or reform. Some of my concerns with this can be summed up in this video.

Farage has spoken about adding a ‘barren tax’ onto women (and possibly men next, let’s not assume anybody will be safe forever).
He is VERY out of touch with the common worker, and his points and thoughts about them suggest that he may bring us to a future where employers in the UK have a tighter grip on their employees, shifting the work-life balance in a negative way for said employees.
Then there’s his matter of wanting to privatise healthcare. The NHS is overloaded, but this can be helped by focusing on funding thwir system instead of the pockets of billionaires. Look to the US, people would rather drive to a hospital while injured because of how much an ambulance costs. We are worried enough about the student debt many acquire at the age of 18-19, what happens if you add medical debt on top of that?
So from these policies alone, we can see women would be punished for not having children by paying more tax, but when they do have children these policies want them to enter medical debt and be unable to work from home where they can take care of their child and not have to find a nursery or babysitter to give even more money to.
Even if you aren’t a woman, imagine getting into an accident and needing medical attention. Instead of just walking out of the hospital with instructions for recovery, you have to deal with this recovery on top of hundreds, if not thousands of pounds owed to the hospital for being treated for your injury.
Yet Reform seems to be leading in the polls. This concerns me greatly, they are not our friends.

Pinterest Archivist vs Podcast Archivist, to me, is like when someone talks about a ‘siren’ and some people think about beautiful ocean mermaid ladies who did the whole “Yoo hoo! Boys!” thing sat back on their perfectly positioned rock, but by definition they are usually giant birds with human heads and most old/ancient art depicting them showed them swarming ships like an invasive species. That when you 100% the entirety of Dispatch (i.e: getting all the endings, Robert types, and achievements), you can remove Mecha Man's mask so that you can see Robert's expressions in full glory? The characters don't react at all to this, which is super funny when the potential reveal hits in Episode 5.

Advice on Endings
I hate ending my stories. I will drag a story on long after it should have ended even though I know it should be done with. If anyone else struggles as well, here is a list of the different types of endings that are common.
Full Circle – Mirror the beginning of the story, show how the tone has shifted from start to end
Bittersweet – Character wins at the cost of something else, creates emotional depth
Emotional resolution – Focuses more on the growth of the characters than the events of the story
Twist – reveal something that changes the readers perspective or understanding
Open – doesn’t answer all the questions or solve all the conflicts of the story, leaving room for interpretation
Quiet – Subtle, reflective ending rather than a dramatic event
Sacrifice – The character has to give something up to achieve a greater goal
Hopeful – Despite the events of the story, there is a distinct sense that everything will be okay
Consequence – Shows how the characters choices throughout the story impact the world or their relationship
Character choice – centers on a decision that defines who the character has become through the story
Anyone else think Breadhead would’ve been like one of those sourdough starters (I know he probably isn't sourdough but still I think this idea of Breadhead going through different stages as a started, dough, then fully formed bread is cute)
Imagine Ken trying to make some bread, and like most people on their first try he fails. Except he takes the ‘I think you made new life’ joke to a whole new level, and he couldn’t just throw out the little guy. He keeps the little fella in a jar and feeds him flour when he seems to be getting hungry like a regular sourdough starter. Toddler Mel seems to find it hilarious when the baby’s lid is opened as he’s growing rapidly and Ken shoves a spoon in there to settle his belly, then the mixture burps and bubbles back down into the jar. Around a certain milestone mark he can sit up on his own (leave the jar to wander around like a firmer dough). They don’t have a name for him yet but Mel affectionately calls him a few noncommittal names like ‘Doughy’ or ‘Bubbles’ when he’s in his peak starter phase.
At some point, Breadhead starts walking through puberty, getting hungry faster which then leads to growing pains as he gains more mass, worried his body is going to begin to slowly expire as it’s been in the dough stage for so long. Plus, he finds himself fascinated by the oven in the butcher shop. ‘Doughy’ and Mel decide to just pop him in there and see what happens. Ken is reasonably freaking out because they’ve never known someone like this kid. What if he wasn’t meant to go near intense heats?!
Ken’s terrified his son is burnt or paralysed by being turned into something more firm too quickly, but out pops a pretty humanoid older kid with a loaf of bread for a head. Thus, he got his official name after he began hitting the bread puberty speed run.
Dispatch ALSO said "the prison industrial complex has failed us. it has always been one on one mentoring and rehabilitation programs that allow people to get back on their feet and make better choices and is the true way to reduce crime" but I don't think y'all are ready for that conversation

I like the Robot Robert AUs; there should be more. This drawing is just an idea; instead of being more human, it's a mini version of the suit (also the pilot's suit).
Another idea is that everyone thinks Mecha Man Blue is a robot that activated after Astral died to continue fulfilling his duties as Mecha Man. Many hero companies want to "sponsor" or "hire" Blue. But Robert knows they want to possess and control Mecha Man, so he stayed out of it until the explosion that destroyed the suit and caused him to lose his Astral pulse. He was damaged and unable to recharge.
Chase met Robert as a prototype replacement pilot, realizing he wasn't just an AI, he was someone... but he lost contact after Astral died. Now, knowing his friend might be lying around somewhere, he asks Blonde Blazer for a favor to recruit him.
But Roberto has no disguise to look like anyone else.
So the plot is that they first see him as a robot, like Mecha Man, and then they start to recognize him as a person, Robert.
