There was a method to keep a person in captivity, created by the tatars: they cut off a layer of skin on prisoner’s feet and stuff chopped horse hair into it, then the wounds are closed and sewn up. After this, a person couldn’t step on normally, they could only walk on their knees or with great pain.

The first time Tommy tried to escape, Dream did the same to him. Tommy tried several times to pull out the horse's hair himself, cutting his own feet again, but he couldn't. When he escaped to Techno he did it through pain, leaving a trail of blood. Even after Techno pulled the stubble out of his feet, he walked badly for a long time, constantly using regeneration potions and crutches.

I know it's weird to say about landscape art, but this is one of the most emotional and meaningful artworks for me. it's a little personal, honestly. Nothing special, just a little Tubbo and a huge frozen lake, but at the same time all the most important topics that I try to cover in my Snowchester art there: need of escapism, feelings of loneliness and loss, homesickness, fear of time and boundless love.

HI someone just sent me some of ur art (the snowchester builds tweets u just made) and i ADORE it like the level of detail is crazy and it’s all gorgeous. i appreciate the dedication to snowchester it has such a place in my heart and it is such a wonderful source of worldbuilding (i rmbr i briefly lost my mind when tubbo suggested one of his builds could be an observatory) and again the ATTENTION TO DETAIL in ur art like all that technical radio telescope and missile bay stuff is rly above and beyond impressive!! you really nail some of those quintessential sc vibes. i’m also especially in love with the one that’s filled with snow with a tiny micheal building a snow chicken like that was Inspired i love them

Snowchester is so special to me, I’m so excited to spread my Snowchester propaganda on tumblr lmao. I love drawing mechanical art, it’s so relaxing. I believe that in order to show the true beauty of these constructions, they must be very accurate, detailed and logically correct. Sounds too lyrical for industrial art, but this is the only way I can express my sincere admiration for these creations. I also got to see these instruments in real life quite a few times (I work in an observatory) so it's not difficult for me to recreate it in art + knowing how they work really helps with drawing them :D

This artwork with Michael building snow chicken was inspired by the actually place near my observatory. It’s just two abandoned domes without telescopes or any instrument inside of them. Winter, it was snowing, i was walking from the mountain and saw them in the distance. I immediately imagined how Tubbo, after working night at the observatory, takes his son for a walk to tell about what he does (I have already fully worked out what he researches in detail, I may later post everything that I have about this on Tumblr) but Michael is just a child, so he finds snowchicken much more interesting than of scientific discoveries. then, as soon as I returned back to the laboratory building, I made a sketch of this artwork. just some context :)

Yeah, this account is new, I created it not long ago. I will gradually post my works here, so don’t worry. i really like tumblr because I, holy shit, actually can post my art with music and writing and it’s just great.
