I always find it extremely telling when Remake Trilogy haters claim that OG FF7 was some big manly man edgelord fest in which there was absolutely no humor or whimsy whatsoever. As if this wasn't the very same thing they were criticizing Advent Children for when it came out.

Pretty funny to me that Sephiroth starts out kind of grumpy as a teen and ends up being kind of mischievous and playful as an adult.

Meanwhile, Angeal starts out really friendly and upbeat as a teen and ends up being kind of stern and overly sensible as an adult.

If Genesis never shows up in Revelation, I'm going to pretend that after his stupid cutscene at the end of Dirge, he and Minerva had a crazy ass cosmic tea party that resulted in the entire OG timeline going apeshit and looping over again, causing the Remake timeline.

In penance for rebooting the multiverse, Genesis gets stuck in continuity-jail, regulated to offhand mentions and indirect cameos for all eternity.
