Goals for 2026 at The Dragon's Nest

The New Year is fast approaching! My goal for 2026 is to raise $444K to build my little cottage by forest and sea into The Dragon's Nest Sanctuary, a beautiful place that holds and nurtures you on your journey toward the beautiful life you are building for yourself this year, from the place you are in right now. The DNS is a place that features kindness, where your heart and soul find rest and community.

At the Dragon's Nest Sanctuary, I gather Fellowships of kindred souls who walk the labyrinth path together to discover her Magic, then discover together the Magic of each other's gifts through uique creative expressions. Come join me, join us, in creating this space by adding your Magic to the Transformation & Regneration that happens here!

❄️ No matter where you are on the planet, the change in Earth's tilt is creating a seasonal shift in your world. Here in New England, on the continent of North America in the Northern Hemisphere, we are experiencing Winter. The Solstice is on Sunday and it is an occasion for gathering our energies and spending time in reflection. We are preparing to let go of 2025 and welcome in 2026. Do you love the color of the—uh, well, does this even count as the sky anymore?

Astronaut Don Pettit took this photo from space in January 2025, as the Sun began to rise over a cloudy Pacific Ocean. This long-exposure image shows off the wide band of the Milky Way, our home galaxy, above the aurora and airglow that shine closer to Earth's horizon.

Astronaut Don Pettit has been to space four times: most recently, he spent 220 days on the International Space Station, returning to Earth in April 2025. Pettit grew space plants, printed 3D metal parts, and studied human health during his time in orbit. When he wasn't working on more formal studies, though, he found plenty of time for what he calls the "science of opportunity:" exploring and experimenting with his surroundings through a combination of science and art.

Autumn's Shadows Bring Us to the Dark Womb of Rest

Nature as Mystery School on the Labyrinth Path, Lesson #5

✨️ The leaves have all fallen from the trees. Lichen is now the featured adornment on the branches.

✨️ Nature is the best Mystery School! She teaches us what it means to be Earthlings. She leans into rest as the days grow colder and the critters prepare for hibernation. They invite us to do the same.

✨️ We can deepen our connection to Nature and her rhythms, and to our own, on the labyrinth path. Each turn brings us closer to our own intuition. We need only listen....

✨️ We are never alone on the labyrinth path. The deeper we turn in toward the center of the path, the more we feel our connection to ourselves, Earth, and all other beings.

Handheld meditation tool created by one of my event's participants

🍁 🍂 🌻 Happy Autumn, Everyone (in the Northern Hemisphere)!

On Sunday I led a labyrinth event at Fivesparks in Harvard, MA. Five women participated. I read poetry, we walked an illuminated labyrinth, then we created handheld meditation tools to take home and use as a means of finding Balance through quiet moments for ourselves in our days and in our lives. The creative energy was flowing and it was amazing to watch community form around everyone present.

It's telling that everyone who signed up were women. We are still the people who need to practice including ourselves in the balance of all we juggle each day, each week, each year of our everyday lives. We need other women to remind us to do so. We reach out and connect no matter where we are.

May this new season of beginnings be restful and rich with connections "old" and new as the darker days set in.
