Now my girlfriend and I watched the Pretty Cure x DCMK episodes now I can just SCREAM IN DELIGHT! Spoilers below if you haven't watched.
This has now become my FAVOURITE Kaito KID episode. When he showed up as Cure Answer I SCREEE-ED and there was no 'ew boy' moment. KID showing up and stopping these thieves out of spite but also showing off his soft side to kids. I love it! This also confirmed some head-cannons I had but was afraid they would be dismiss in an unfun 'He's a boy lol' way. These Head cannons being:
He knows how to fight/run in high heels.
Would paint his nails if the disguise called for it.
He would be a PERFECT Disney Character Actor. Kaito will never struggle to find work honestly
What I didn't expect was him painting his gun pink for this and I love it! I know they joked about him being possibly a fan. I'd take it one step further.
He did it for the bit, just watched some episodes, wasn't planning on getting too deep in. Its just for the heist. Completed all the episodes... but damn the entire season isn't out but he can't wait. BUT ITS JUST FOR THE BIT GUYS DON'T WORRY-A week later, heist is done and now he's going through ALL of the pretty cure shows. I'd like this because this has been my journey with DCMK. I was watching this entire show to use as reference material for a Magical Girl story I was working on. Told my girlfriend to her face that I won't get sucked in, promise. Now I've watched all the movies with Kaito KID, all Kaito KID appearances and I'm making art/writing fanfics of this little shit. He cursed me so I'm cursing him back with Pretty Cure hyper fixation.

I got really worked up over The Million Dollar Pentagram Movie bc the trailer gave me a different idea of what would happen. I would very much like to linger on Kaito's grief when Nakamori gets shot or the fact that someone attacks him with a sword and he stumbles The Teamup with Heiji and Conan was also a bit underwhelming.. so I sat down the second I came home and started to write some ideas down for a rewrite
