I recently started watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the intro was so dear to me I got the idea to recreate it. Now this project should have been a long run but due to time restrictions it was a sprint (made this in 4 days).

Following the trend of backrooms being ever present trought the time got me thinking, what if backrooms appeared in Cinderella universe and who would discover them? (assuming that backrooms appear at the chateau)

Would it be discovered by Cinderella while cleaning or doing a task that her stepmother assigned to her in some part of the house?

Would it be discovered by lady Tremaine, perhaps while looking for her cat Lucifer?

Would it be discovered by Anastasia and Drizella during one of their numerous fights?

Another question is what would they find/ what would room show them and what would each of them get put of it?

Cinderella would probably use the backrooms as her hiding place or even as a storage to hide away few things that are still hers. I dont think she would venture far from the "doorway" and the "starting" room

Lady Tremaine would venture a bit further into the backrooms fascinated by the things that appear in the room. Things from her past, things and places from her first marriage and even a crude copy of her first husband. Slowly she wants to stay longer and longer in the backrooms, she doesn't wanna leave the comfort of the nostalgia. Maybe she will stay forever, the backrooms had claimed her...

Anastasia and Drizella would probably start to explore the backrooms but inevitably start another argument getting them lost. Not only did their arguing got them lost but it attracted an unknown entity to them. Would entity claim one or both sisters and how long would Anastasia or Drizella survive without the other?

These are some of my thoughts on Cinderella/Backrooms idea, mixing cannon and my headcanon of the characters. I would love to hear any opinions or ideas you have about this topic 👁👁 (maybe backrooms dont appear at the chateau and maybe another character discovers them)

Nothing against the actress but personally I cannot stand the way she talks/ portrays the character. Im just waiting for the moment Gina Torres, aka Tommy Vega, comes since I mostly started to watch series because of her (first saw her in Suits and was kinda suprised to see her in 911LS)

Potential title of the story: my ghostly office affair / my unusual office affair

So for actual plot of this story:

-Grace (placeholder name) is a woman in her late 20s, 27/29 maybe

-lives with her boyfriend Luke (placeholder name)

-Luke (28/31 maybe) is a deadbeat with a part time job, gaming addiction and bag of empty promises (his job is either gas station worker or fast food)

-Grace is a full time employee of a marketing firm, although she feels stuck and unfulfilled since she is just above an entry position in her company

-Grace and Luke are college sweethearts but since graduating the relationship turned toxic. Grace doesn't wanna break up since she invested so many years in Luke and hopes he will change his ways for her. Luke always gives out empty promises of change and marriage soon

-after a bout of sickness where Luke ignores her and doesn't help in any way her spirit is completely broken. After coming back to work she is contemplating about what to do, stay and stick it out, leaving and potential of never finding anyone (also the financial burden of finding a new place to live) or ending it all for good

-Dream sequence (???) She is on a roof of her company at the very edge deciding if she wants to jump or not. As it looks like she will jump she hears a womans voice whisper in her ear "it's not worth it. He is not worth it." She let's go regardless and as she thuds on a floor she wakes up (??)

-after that she starts to see shadows in the corner of her eye at work. Every day the shadow becomes more human like. She becomes so uneasy she seeks out help from her estranged friend Olivia

-Olivia works as some kind of case worker or hospital worker

-the 2 were estranged due to Luke isolating Grace from her family and friends

-Olivia gives Grace some recommendations and grace eventually gets some meds

-however meds do not work since one day a fully realized figure of a woman makes contact with Grace

-the ghost woman pursues Grace and office shenanigans occur and they eventually enter a relationship

-the relationship will weigh heavily on grace since she cant stand that she is cheating on her boyfriend (Luke cheats on Grace regularly but she has no idea about it)

-Luke is having an affair with bunch of women but the longest affair is one with a woman from his work

-(potential plot) one of Luke's affairs is with a colleague of Grace and that colleague will show the proof to grace (maybe in "this yo man" type of way or "hey girl I didn't know" type of way)

-Grace will pull from Luke and he is not happy about that perceived slight. his usual ignoring of Grace turns into accusation and yelling (maybe turning physical at some point)

-at some point Grace and her ghost will have a sex scene. (Ghost can interact with physical world)

-about the ghost: I don't have much of an idea except she is kinda milfy. She is drawn to grace because of all her negative energy (ghosts feed of negative energy and that makes them stronger)

That's it for now. I don't really have the idea for the end of the story. I also know this will not be a silly office romance story, more of a psychological horror. Have no clue if I will pursue this story or if I even have the skill to execute it right.
