NOT AT ALL TO DERAIL THIS but i found a full video of this sweetheart dance competition (it’s from an EARLY 2020 pow wow, like pre lockdown early) and here’s the thing: this dance is beautiful, extremely so, but this is from the end of the competition because they toed with another couple and had to go out one at a time and do a tiebreaker round. The other couple they tied with was two men, and those two men *won* the tie! full video below!
