"It's 5 AM when you close the door
I don't know who I am anymore
And tell me, did you make your eyes blur?
So that in the dark, I'd look like her.
Four tequilas down
Who gives a shit if we're messing around
They'll never know, they'll never know
So just hold me like you mean it
We'll pretend because we need it"
A drunken night of partying led to a (potential) one night stand with Mykiel. Our session left off with it being the next afternoon, with nothing having been resolved. They both keep avoiding each other at every turn, instead of talking it out like adults.
Temperance was feeling a little guilty, and sorry for herself, because now that they're on the train and outside of the Dwarven kingdom, Mykiel is in contact with his Deva again, and avoiding him is impossible.
Temp worries that he'll consider it a mistake, or that he wont, but his deva will have objections. Or, worst of all, that his Deva won't object, but she'll still always just be a sort of place holder for his Deva, never his first choice, just the one that was available.
Between all of that, her fear of The Man in Black coming for her, and the strange book she was given that seems to tell the story of her mother's (or potentially her own?) life, She's taken to day drinking, much to even Dram's surprise (honestly, me too, Dram; drinking's what got her into this mess in the first place).
Oh, and Adriel figured out what happened, and gave Mykiel a "fatherly warning" we'll call it (standard, "don't break my daughters heart" BS). Which can definitely only make things better, right? (Thanks, Dad)
