Long post. Some spoilers down below!

Honestly, it makes sense that Spider and Kiri would keep their budding relationship a secret.

They take things slowly because this is uncharted territory for both of them. There’s no template for what they’re doing, no precedent to follow. Spider wants to court her properly, not rush headlong and bungle it all up. He respects and cherishes Kiri too much to rush into anything. Their restraint doesn’t mean they love each other any less. If anything, it means the opposite. Their affection grows in careful increments: small touches, lingering looks, shared silences. Baby steps.

They are painfully aware of what they represent. Unless there are others like them, Spider and Kiri are the first true interspecies couple on Pandora, Spider without an avatar, Kiri a Na’vi. That makes them cautious because all it takes is for someone to feel personally offended by their relationship and seek to harm them. Kiri loves Spider exactly as he is. She even tells him that he’s perfect. Still, they move with care… as careful as two teenagers in love can realistically be.

Lo’ak is the first to figure it out.

Spider and Kiri aren’t nearly as subtle around him as they think they are. Maybe they can fool Jake and Neytiri, but not Lo'ak. From Lo'ak's pov, Kiri is suddenly always at Spider’s side, leaning into him, clinging a little closer than before, accompanying him everywhere whenever she gets the chance. Lo’ak watches this escalate for days before finally blurting out, half-amused and half-bewildered:

“Bro. These past few days, Kiri's been practically riding on your back. What happened?”

Spider freezes.

“Um… the thing is—”

And Spider tells him.

Lo’ak stares at him, wide-eyed. Then he laughs, assuming it’s a joke.

But Spider doesn’t laugh back.

He just looks at him, serious, nervous, honest, and that’s when it sinks in.

It’s a little weird for Lo’ak at first. He won’t lie about that. But the feeling passes quickly, replaced by something warmer. He’s happy for them. Genuinely. He accepts it without conditions, without judgment, because Spider is his best friend and Kiri is his sister, and if they’ve found something real in each other, then that’s all that matters.

As for Jake and Neytiri… that conversation is postponed. Indefinitely.

Spider and Kiri agree to wait. Spider is still deeply afraid of Jake. He doesn’t want to wake up one morning with Jake’s knife at his throat again. He doesn’t trust Jake or Neytiri enough to expose his relationship with Kiri. Not when he knows, knows, that their love could be seen as a liability, a threat, or worse.

So they keep it to themselves. Maybe when they're older and independent, they'll tell them...but for now, they wait.

I made another leap in my ability to draw Ezra. 😁 I’m very happy. This is a compilation of a bunch of studies I’ve done recently. I’m Really trying to get his expressions to look natural along with some more challenging head angles. His hair still really frustrates me, but I’m going to keep working at it. I also need to do more full body sketches but I love drawing faces more so I always put it off.

This is the Tumblr blog for the first ever Sabine Wren/Ezra Bridger fanzine! At the present time we are asking for volunteers to help moderate the zine. The mods will help us select the fanfic writers and fan artists who will contribute to the project. Because we are such a small part of the larger Star Wars fandom, the mods will also be allowed to contribute fanfic and fan art of their own. If you would like to volunteer as an fan art or fan fic moderator, send a direct message to this Tumblr. List your experience with similar projects in the message. Follow this blog for updates about artist and writer applications which will be posted at a later date.

Quinn73, better known as @jedimandalorian (That’s me!) is the head moderator for the entire project. Our graphic designer and chief art moderator is @alphaofdarkness. You can see her illustrations below.

Several of us have been brainstorming ideas for this zine at The Sabezra Society Discord. The plan is to release the fanzine as a free digital creation (e-zine) with lots of Sabezra fan fiction and illustrations accompanied by additional fan art printables, such as stickers and other fun items.

Star-Crossed will be divided into four sections, each one inspired by one of the Mandalorian wedding vows.

1. Mhi solus tome: "We are one when together.”

This section will include Rebels era art and fic which we will present chronologically. Your creations should show how young Sabine and Ezra grew closer over time, eventually becoming the battle couple we know and love. Their bond grows stronger with each adventurous year with the Ghost Crew.

2. Mhi solus dar'tome: "We are one when parted.”

Do you like angst and romantic yearning? If you do, this is where we will place your art and stories about that lonely decade Sabine spent on Lothal while Ezra was stranded on Peridea, and their long awaited but too brief reunion which ends in their tragic separation once again.

3. Mhi me'dinui an: "We share all.”

Do you have ideas about Sabine and Ezra sharing weapons, food, clothes, or just spending quality time together? Allow Ezra to turn up the charm for Lady Wren when he courts her. What will the proposal be like? Chronicle or illustrate these events, leading up to, and including the day of their wedding.

4. Mhi ba'juri verde: "We will raise warriors.”

Imagine Sabine and Ezra happily married and raising their children as the next generation of Mando-Jedi warriors. This is where we will place your happily-ever-after stories and epilogue art.

Our goal is to bring all of the Sabezra shippers together to create something beautiful. Don’t be afraid to contribute in whatever large or small way you can. Essays, poems, comic strips, and song parodies (filks) have been a part of Star Wars fanzine culture since before there was such a marvelous thing as the Internet. Such contributions will also be welcomed.

All zine submissions must be in the “safe for work”and “recommended for fans of all ages” category. Other beloved canon ships, such as Kanera, are allowed. No fanon ships are permitted other than Sabine/Ezra. We want this zine to be accessible to as many members of the Sabezra community as possible.

I think I have a few of them from both Rebels and Ahsoka. I love all the scenes from Krownest and Sabezra scenes with Sabine’s family. Like we all know that Alrich ships it. Also kinda basic answer but THE. LAST. EPISODES. The moment when Sabine meets him when he is meditating or their last moments together are 🤌🤌

And there is also „I missed you” from Ahsoka and moment when Ezra is building his new lightsaber 😭🥹

One time a made an edit with NLB (she’s even seen it!) with Last Christmas, so I guess that’s the one that reminds me of them!

don’t think I have one, now. It’s kinda funny bc Star Wars movies are some kind of Christmas movies since they’re usually coming out during Christmas time, so I would say Star Wars.

Yes, I have! Probably most ppl don’t know bout it but I’ve participated in both Sabezra Weeks in 2022 and 2023. But… well, English is not my first language so I decided to post all that I’ve written (it’s like whole 2022 week and like a half of 2023 cause I haven’t finished that one) on Wattpad in my first language Polish. So if sb wants to read it feel free to translate it 😭. Also I’ve done one edit during this Sabezra Week.

Based on this fanfic called Hunting Ghosts by DashRenders, both on fanfiction.net and Ao3! Rated M, so.. just read at your own discretion ~

I don’t know why this particular story has just intrigued me to the point I wanted to draw for it. I think it’s just the alternate timeline and the depiction of Sabine being a bounty hunter and coming across Ezra again after a tragic incident years prior. The loss gets me 😔, unnecessary but I understand ;;w;;.

Written, I believe, sometime when season 2 was still airing; it’s a good read :) a oneshot, bless 💜 I recommend it if y’all haven’t read it already, I think it’s a good fic ✨

I have two more draws to go with this. I wanted to post them or rather two of them altogether, but spacing out my draws so I can catch up to draw more of the sillies.
