a weird thought but I feel like if a person would turn into an animal they would freak out from the difference in muscle/bone/sensory structure

turning into a large dog or a wolf would feel strange but not too overwhelming as the body is rather similar in structure

the paw structure would feel really weird but the most unsettling thing would probably be the sense of smell

but turning into something like a bug would be really unsettling since the difference in structure (exoskeleton, no muscles, you breathe through your whole body, etc.)

My uncle is really into warhammer and would win every miniature painting competition he was in. I have not very steady hands and he saw me messing up my nail polish for prom. He sat with me and carefully painted my nails and that moment meant so much to me all these years later.
