Black day for TISS Guwahati. Those who taught it betrayed those who put it on the map.

14 of 25 faculty from TISS Guwahati campus went on mass leave yesterday during the institute's admission process to protest their whimsical and ill-natured basis of employment by TISS Mumbai. Every temporary faculty is hired on contracts of 1-year or less, while some are not even renewed for months while the teachers teach without any job security. Worse, there is not a single permanent non-teaching staff in the campus. With what vision did you open this campus, TISS Mumbai? TISS wasn't made in a day, then why does it burn today? Your reputation sinks every day.
