Bruce Wayne is the rare human who could probably withstand almost all modes of torture (and probably has experienced most) while still being uniquely vulnerable to one form of torture, AKA being forced to witness his kids getting tortured instead. Waterboarding? Sure, that’s a walk in the park. Sitting next to Robin!Dick when he’s getting waterboarded? Instant crash out.

YES, thank you! I know a lot of people don't agree, but I find him so attractive as Bruce. I was never really that into Ben Affleck before, but then he put on a wig, got a spray tan, and showed up with that dead look in his eyes and I was hooked.

isolation in whump

so i love this trope but im not talking the basic 'locked in a room and isolated for days until they beg and break' (do love that too) but im talking about the emotional isolation.

the only people whumpee has around are people who hurt and abuse them they don't get to see people treat them a human, on top of this whumpee has to go through all of their emotions and pains alone and when they try and ask a guard or whumper for help they are completely ignored. this would make a person feel very isolated from people

I love it when a character laughs uncarefully and their soft laugh turns into a groan, and then they still smile a little despite frowning in pain. I love this mixed expression of frowning and smiling for some reason. Especially when the character laughs because of something the caretaker said or did.

Whumpee who has never been treated good. Whumpee who accepts worse than the bare minimum. Whumpee who's in a relationship with caretaker, and absentmindedly asks caretaker to stop doing something. Whumpee who freezes up after asking because they expect caretaker to be just like the rest.

Whumpee who's baffled when caretaker neither ignores them, nor yells. Caretaker who immediately stops because they don't want to make whumpee uncomfortable. Whumpee who acts like caretaker is a godsend, and caretaker visibly concerned because all they did was respect their lovers boundaries.

( Bonus points if whumpee starts overexplaining themself because they've had to fight to be understood their whole life, and caretaker just nods along with a bittersweet expression. )

Is this anything? Also apologies for being inactive for a few days, writers block is so bad I can hardly even think of prompts.
