Wholesome Sportacus headcanons
*Sportacus’s sneezes are VERY LOUD. Seriously. Like, loud enough to silence a room when he does it and his sneezes are known to startle other people and catch him some surprised stares.
*When Sportacus told Ziggy that he wasn’t afraid of anything, he wasn’t being honest with him. For one, he can’t handle the sight of blood. He gets squeamish when he sees blood and all lightheaded. His biggest fear though is the kids getting hurt. If one of the kids ended up bleeding somehow, he’d probably go into full panic tbh
*The only one who knows about the blood thing is Robbie because once, Robbie peeled a band-aid off in front of him and Sportacus’s face went pale
*Despite being such a good older brother/father figure, Sportacus is actually the baby of his family
*One thing that he and Robbie have in common is that BOTH of them actually have ADHD. Part of it is just the nature of him being a sports elf, but his ADHD is one of the reasons why he has such a hard time staying still. You think he moves around a lot NOW? Yeah, it was a lot worse when he was younger
*That being said, although he loves all sports and physical activity, his least favorite is probably yoga because Sportacus is not exactly the best at the whole meditating and staying in one position thing. He gets distracted. He is still trying though, because you NEVER give up
*His mother taught him how to knit when he was a boy. She did it in order to get him preoccupied enough to stay still for at least a short while. His father taught him chess for the same reason
*Sportacus went to college and unsurprisingly, majored in health education. He went to a HUMAN college too rather than an elf school, and it was his first time living amongst humans. And yeah, he ended up standing out A LOT
*Every once in a while, he’ll fall into these periods where he just starts worrying a lot about the people in town. Usually it’s triggered by a particularly big save, or a period where he ended up having to save people more than usual. Sometimes, he just gets anxious and on edge that one day, he might be too late or something REALLY BAD might happen, …but he keeps it to himself though, because he’s supposed to be the hero and in his head, that registers as being fearless and handling everything himself…
*He was REALLY into the Power Rangers as a kid (or whatever the equivalent is in their universe) and wanted to be just like them and he practiced doing all the cool moves that they did. He’d pretend to be ALL of them (yes, even the pink one), and sometimes…all at once
*He’s a briefs guy. Briefs work better than boxers do with those tight pants he always wears
*When he heard that all of the bees are dying, he got REALLY REALLY SAD
*If you catch him in his airship staring towards the northeast wistfully , it means that he is thinking about home. But if you ask, he’ll say it’s “nothing”
*The last 8 minutes he has before bed is for him to gather up all his thoughts and to make sure that he’s done everything that he needed to do that night, and to make sure he’s prepared for any plans he has the next day. Basically, he spends those 8 minutes before 8:08 double-checking that he didn’t forget about anything
*He called Bessie “mom” once by accident and then got very embarrassed about it
*One time, Stephanie and him were having a bonding moment and she called him “dad” once accidentally, and Sportacus had to leave the room for a moment because it made him tear up a little
