[seemingly in one breath] Mohan is losing faith in her abilities as a doctor and Mel is so lonely after giving up having a life so Becca could have one and the camera is lingering on Robby a little too long whenever they mention suicide and self harm and psych holds and McKay missed Roxie dying to treat a homeless woman she met as part of the street team in the park and Ogilvie got empathy-checked about addiction being a Disease by McKay and Javadi was with Roxie as she died and is riddled with mommy issues and Al-Hashimi stopped a mom whose young son climbed into a hot car to rest from walking in front of a garbage truck and Nurse Jesse was arrested by ICE officers for standing up for a patient which Javadi recorded and WILL post on Dr J’s TikTok account and Langdon tried to apologize to Santos but she wants him in prison and they both really have the nuclear codes for making the other angry and this fucking guy showed up before his drunk friend assaulted nurse Emma and that’s what you missed on Glee

al-hashimi’s storyline ending with her crying on the roof of the parking garage is so good.

it shows that the job is just fucking impossible. it’s not a robby specific issue. robby isn’t the only one having a breakdown on a roof after managing the shift. he’s not ill-suited to the position, the position is not tenable for anyone!

al-hashimi had a stellar day in regards to what she could control. she used her unique skills to intubate that young kid when everyone sort of froze, she got the prisoner better care, she connected with the staff after she was met with resistance initially.

but she started having breakthrough seizures. this setting, and being in a leadership position in it, does something to your brain. it takes away your progress. it makes you cry on roofs.

jack, robby, and baran all have the same breakdown at the end of the day. that is the only rational reaction to being the main decision maker in that department. the collapse is not a robby or a jack issue, it is inherent to the responsibility.
