Sometimes I think of the mighty nein finding Mollymauk just wandering around a small, quiet town. He has no memories, but he’s putting on little street performances, flashing smiles to dazzle the crowd. Safe, carefree, unburdened by his tragic past and impossible odds—he’s happy.
Imagine Yasha finding an alive Molly, happy but he has no memories of her or the rest of the Nein. She stares at him for a long time, watching and hoping he’ll recognise her. Eventually he comes over and asks if something is wrong, and knowing how he felt about his past before, Yasha just tells this new version of Molly that he reminds her of someone who got her out of a very dark place. Molly thanks her but tells her he’s not that man, Yasha nods, says she understands and asks if he’s happy. Molly says yes and Yasha smiles and tells Molly that her friend would of liked him, and returns to the Nein, tears of both joy and sorrow running down her cheeks. As each of them sans Cad give him a knowing, but sad look, they all depart on their next adventure, and hope that this version of Molly lives a long, happy life.
I truly cannot wait to see the Mighty Nein’s next conversation with the Bright Queen.

Our friend Yasha *Yasha waves* got mind controlled and kidnapped, so we went and made this cool sword to help get her back, and then we tried to prevent the ritual and another god’s avatar but we couldn’t kill the Laughing Hand but then we realized that we could kill him if we killed his heart but it was in a magic ball where time moves really slowly so we spent a few days in there but it was a few weeks out here, and that’s sort of where we met Allura, who is so awesome by the way, and we scried and were able to see that the Angel of Irons was actually this guy Tharizdun the Crawling King-

M9, continuing: -and they were attacking Rexxentrum and we were sort of nearby so we went to get Yasha back but then as we were leaving we met the king who was like, ‘it seems like your name has weight in the Dynasty, figure out a way to make peace or we will kill you, have the Beacon if you want’, so it turned out alright because now you can get it back, which is what you said to do in the first place!

He gave up his powers… to have a family… and just didnt care what happened… Smallville’s Clark Kent… Tom Welling’s CK… did that… I can see other supermen/Clark’s doing it… but SV was always about finding a balance between being CK and Superman… Like that was just a cameo and its great that the characters are happy (assuming his earth ends up ok) but like why?
To be fair here, we don’t know the state of his world or the context of which he chose to give up his powers aside from the fact he had kids. Lex could actually be redeemed on his earth (even if they’re not friends anymore). Or he could of just given up his powers temporarily because there was no Argo on his earth and is just trolling 38-Lex.
Seeing the Supergirl 5X01 reactions
Supercorp has to be the most delusional fucking fanbase out of all the ships in the Arrowverse. My god. Look, I like Lena as a character, I like Kara. I am all for good representation, but I’ve seen deliberate misquoting, ignoring the fact that Lena plans to abuse Kara’s trust and only didn’t out her to the world (which would in turn endanger literally everyone Kara loves) was so she can betray her more deeply later. Yup that’s a real fucking endgame ship guys.
Let me pose this question to y’all.
So I frequently see posts on this site about how angry people are at X character’s death. Usually they’re along the lines of “oh my god, they died for shock value” or “they deserved better” or “the writer(s) messed up big time” or “they were killed off for this other character’s pain”, that kind of stuff. Not saying there’s anything wrong with these posts, it’s okay to grieve for your favorite characters, but here’s my question.
When was the last time a character you liked was killed off and you AGREED with the decision? Could be for any reason, such as you felt it was necessary to continue the story, the actual death was beautiful and well-written, you felt that the character had to die because of the narrative set up for them, and so on.
Rip’s death in season 3 of Legends of Tomorrow. For two big reasons: The character had thoroughly completed his arc twice over, and it was a death worthy of the character, buying time for the team he helped create. To do anything he could to protect history and the people he cared about.
So the Crisis crossovers are going to be BIG! What remains to be seen is if it is a BIG as in EPIC, or just a big mess…
At least 3 versions of Superman and another Atom announced, Bruce Wayne played by the voice actor for the animated series, Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor on set yesterday. And then all of the different heroes/anti-heroes from 5 different shows, some perhaps portraying multiple versions of themselves. The crossovers are going to be crowded…
It seems a bit premature to market the crossovers now more than two months before they air - are they desperate to improve ratings and marketing the season premieres of all the shows with the BIG crossover episodes to come rather than letting each show stand on its own two feet? They apparantly even thought of including the young super-grandpa from the Krypton series, but “timing did not work out” as Guggenheim tweeted. Because all the castings have been publicly announced and the pics of Brandon Routh as Superman were released officially.
I just don’t see why they would bring in the Smallville cast, but not bring back Mon El, Winn and the Legion for the Crisis crossovers? But I am beginning to lose hope that they will bother with Mon El, Winn and Legion, even though they are canon in the Arrowverse.
If they are not bringing back Mon El, Winn and Legion - is it because they were not willing/available (Amy and Jeremy are both new parents and Jeremy has concerts in NY in October). Welling shot his scenes in a single day so availability should not be the main issue. Michael Rosenbaum cited no money and not allowed to see a script as reasons for bowing out, in addition to his personal circumstances. Might it not be financially attractive enough for them to return even for one day of filming?
If they ARE in fact bringing back Mon El, Winn and Legion of Superheroes for the crossovers, might they actually be keeping it under wraps? Why, when everything else is so public? Could it be that Mon El and Winn return already in the build-up episode for the crossover? During the crossovers the big fight scenes are front and center, but I would so like to see that flying kiss for good luck!
Marc Guggenheim has said that he wants to keep some surprises. So if Mon-El, Winn and the Legion are a part of Crisis, they might be keeping that secret. That being said, I would temper expectations as well. Crisis is huge, and in a TV adaptation some people are bound to be left out.
I’m glad it was Lena, alone with Lex and finishing him off for good, in the end. I’ve thought of Lena’s S4 story as her reckoning with her demons … and none loomed larger in her life than Lex. It was right for his final scene to be with her.
The price was her finding out about Kara in the most sadistic way Lex could manage.
What it doesn’t mean: that Lena is going evil. You can pry The Good Luthor from my cold dead hands. :)

If you do this, it’s genocide, she says when he tells her he plans to wipe out Argo City.
‘The world will never be a safe place with you in it.’ In the end, Lena chose the greater good over everything.
Lena’s hurt, heartbroken, angry … the way she found out was awful and cruel. She probably isn’t going to speak to Kara - or really, any of them - for a good long while. But will it change who she is? I really don’t think so.
I think it might lead her to take some morally questionable actions, but go full villain? Nah.

Except no? The only change in the Arrow casts life was baby sara becoming JJ. You also say it like the future we saw in Star City 2046 was a good one anyway. Mia didn’t exist, John was dead, likely all the other team arrow members too and Oliver was a recluse waiting to die. Something must of shattered their relationship in that timeline too because the only thing we hear about Felicity in the modern day is that she’s “gone”.
If it’s just directed at finding the multiverse exists in the first place well... that still wouldn’t make a difference. The Monitor would still go to Earth-1 eventually, the Crisis would still happen. Given comic history it’s also safe to say it won’t be the only one if the news paper from the future stays the same.
But yeah, ultimately. Not Barry’s fault. Lay it at Doctor Destiny and the Monitors feet if you need some one to blame.

I could write a whole meta about why this is so wrong, but why bother? When fans outthink the writers they have outgrown the show and it’s time to move on, at least from live watching. That might be what I do.
Also included there was “from yourself” All the speedsters are gone. Why? Jesse and Jay make sense, they live on another earth. But Wally? What about him? Something terrible must have happened. Iris has seen what the life of a hero costs, and making sure her daughter doesn’t end up like her father would of been priority number one for her. Add on to that she seemed to of had her powers from a very early age if not from infancy, and you can see the need in Iris’ mind to dampen them. How are you supposed to wrangle a toddler that can be halfway across the city in the blink of an eye?
I’m not saying what she did was right, just that it’s not just the melodrama logic. Context is needed
No offense but they made Barry unnecessarily cruel. Like this episode actually made me have more sympathy for both Nora and Iris and I find it so hard to believe that after hearing Nora explain herself, Barry would still treat her like this and hurt Iris in the process. While I do believe Barry had every right to send her back home at this point, I also think you’re right that he should of at least let Nora say goodbye. But to first part. Barry is in the right. She had every opportunity to come clean, and she continued to lie and consult with the murderer of her Grandmother after she found out what had happened and what he had done. Once she had options and people to talk to. Barry loosing faith in Nora is all on Nora.
