I was struggling to fall asleep last night, and in the process I came up with a concept for a Dispacth dating sim.

You play as Robert Robertson III (obviously) and basically you get to romance most of the team (I feel like Coupe, Punch-up, and Prism would be off the list, possibly also Waterboy, or maybe like a "we saw you from across the bar and we liked your vibe" deal with Coupe and Punch-up) and it should be called HR Violation.

Basically you try your hardest to woo one (or more, who knows) of your co-workers without getting an HR violation put out against you (although I don't know if the HR department exists in that office). This should obviously include the general team but also Royd and Galen. I think this could be beautiful.

(I really just want this to happen because I wish Robert and Flambae could kiss but shhhhhhhhhhh)

Labyrinth of Melancholy

So I'm INCREDIBLY accident prone so I thought I'd share some of my favorite stories!

I got hit in the head by a basketball nine times during one gym class

I dislocated the same toe twice

I dislocated my hip doing a very simple movement

A kid at the camp I work at hit me with a pie so hard in the face that she knocked my tooth out of place

My friend almost cut me in the head with her iceskate because she pulled me down with her when she fell

I have way more, but these are the most noteable

So, I want to preface this with these are purely my opinions, and I've been thinking about this since the reboot came out, but... the CoD MWIII reboot is doodoo dogshit.

Don't get me wrong, there are good aspects of it, but overall it is ass. In the original, it actually makes cohesive sense and has pay off when they kill Soap. In the reboot, not only is there barely ANY compelling gameplay or storyline, but they kill off Soap for NO REASON. Like genuinely he just got shot point blank for no good reason. None. Ghost had finally had someone he could be human around for once, who he could be Simon with and then Activision just ripped that away from him because of shitty writing and being rushed. They clearly don't care about the story or the characters, they just wanted money.

Well, in this essay I will explain why they should hire me to rewrite MWIII for them, and produce a better game. Like logically, Johnny would've been wearing his helmet considering they know Makarov is dangerous. If there is the desire for a Ghost revenge plot against Makarov, they could've still had it where he does get shot, point blank, but considering the helmet, it would protect him, but obviously he'd get seriously knocked unconcious (good tactical helmets can protect up to .44 Magnum at point blank, and Makarov uses a 9mm) and severe head trauma. So there would still be the tension and high stakes with the disarming the bombs scene as well as the player unsure if Soap is okay and Ghost would have that moment of panic since Johnny would likely be unstable from the amount of force from the bullet, but he'd survive. However, he would likely be put on leave for a while if not honorably discharged. Then Ghost would still have even greater motive to go after Makarov for a fourth game.

I have so many other gripes with the storyline of this game but Soap's death is my biggest because it was so easily preventable, but they just didn't care enough, I guess.
