alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.

we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

#I would be DEVASTATED #if any of the museums I love started using ai for their exhibits #museums and co are often pillars of communities so neglecting involvement by artists #would be horrific in my opinion #additionally I would be deeply uncomfortable due to the amount of misinformation inside ai #i would be on edge and doubt anything within the museum and it would feel inherently tainted

i don't know who needs to hear this, but guilt, self-hatred and shame are not sustainable sources of growth and healing. you can't hate yourself into feeling better, or being better. you can't repeatedly punish yourself for your flawed humanity and expect wholesome results.

i am of the sincere belief that if ur on ur computer a lot you should visually customize it to high hell and back not just for funsies but also because it has literally made me less depressed before. its kind of like how rearranging your bedroom is good for your brain, yknow. i do stuff like this every few months
