I'm rewatching Law & Order SVU, and just realised that Wilson is a small reoccurring lawyer!!!

My new headcanon is that Wilson got better and lived. But since House faked his death, they both decided to create new identities and start anew.

Wilson working for the DA. And then House as a pro brono freelance lawyer type thing. This way he can "solve" cases and choose which cases he wants to work on.

They choose New York bc it's close enough to visit old friends semi-regularly and because it's easy for people to get lost in the crowd so they won't be noticed.

And of course they're happily married together.

I love Hucklerobby in fanon ONLY. In the actual show I couldn't care about them being together less. They do not have that chemistry on screen to me, but fandom artists/writers are simply to good at what they do to ignore.

As someone who unfortunately has been surrounded with addicts my whole life: both parents & one of my siblings (all now clean for 15+ yrs), Old friends I had to distance myself from as I grew up, and now my sweet faced little niece who is currently in recovery. You genuinely NEVER know who it can affect.

It IS in character for Buck considering literally everything he has been through, even before this recent kidnapping.

You can grow up wealthy, happy, no issues at all, and addiction can still get to you. It can happen to you, to your loved ones, your friends, your class clown classmate, your neighbor, anybody.

People saying it couldn't happen to Buck, or that it's out of character, know nothing about addiction.

Saying that it couldn't possibly happen to Buck is honestly infuriating because it implies that theirs only a specific type of people that addiction can happen to.

There are so many ways it can happen, and it can happen to anybody.
