About Le Fey Music
My name is Cheryl. I write original poetry inspired by videogames and use the AI vocalist to sing it. Although the music is produced by the AI Suno, I’m not just “using” Suno — I’m collaborating with it to express something personal and authentic.
FAQ
Q. How do you create an AI voice to sing your songs? A. I use the website Suno.com
Q. Do you write all of your own lyrics? A. Yes, always. I start by writing poetry, and then adapt them into lyrics with a chorus and a hook.
Q. Which videogames do you write about? A. Primarily Dragon Age and Mass Effect, but I’m also writing some songs for Fallout, Zelda, Super Mario, and some retro RPGs.
Q. Don’t you think that using AI to make music is cheating? A. AI is just a tool — it doesn’t write my songs for me. I write the lyrics, choose the mood, shape the story, and guide the sound. It still takes effort, creativity, and heart to bring these songs to life.
Q. Are your songs on Spotify or any streaming sites? A. Yes, some of them are (the ones that don’t violate copyright laws). These songs are performed by my AI persona “Indil” and are available on Spotify, Amazon, iTunes, and YouTube Music. The album for Bioware inspired songs is “The Sound Of Stories”.
Q. Do you make original songs that are not videogame related? A. Yes, using the persona “Indil” I make original songs based on my own poetry. You can find Indil on Spotify, iTunes, YouTube, and YouTube Music. The genre is primarily Celtic Rock, but I also dabble in Folk music, Techno Rock, acoustic ballads, and other genres.
