Finally finished up my first set of parachute cord bracelets, I made them in two different sizes. Eight and nine inches around the wrist. My favorite is either the black or rainbow!

I’m Sorry.

Dear followers,

I apologize strongly for having just gone missing for a few weeks.

Recently, I have undergone heart surgery to correct a rather major problem that gave me three heart attacks in seven months. I have been slowly recovering and hopefully I'll be able to get back to posting regularly. I'm sorry once more for the lack of posting, I promise that when I'm better I will be back to making and posting my work.

Story of How I’ve Been Discriminated

As most of you know, I go to a hyper religious Christian school and most know that I’m an open FTM trans teen. Recently I’ve been getting some pretty nasty threats from both students and parents, regarding my name change and how I wear my hair. My family got a call from the principle of the school to have a talk about it just about a week ago, and it’s come to my attention that dozens of people are talking about me in rather awful and discriminatory ways. Parents had called in complaining about how I was going on the recent trip to Nashville and how the said parents didn’t want their children anywhere near me. People around me have been talking behind my back for quite a long time, but now I know for sure that people are spreading rumors and trashing my name.

On the topic of the calls from the parents, there were many requests to force me out of the Nashville trip and even out of the school entirely because I was quote ‘going to stare at them in the shower’ and ‘touch them sexually when no one is around to stop them [me].’ Not only does this disgust me, but the fact the parents are supposed to be Christians makes me beyond sick. I’m not allowed to go into the male restroom or locker room and teachers specifically force me out of them if I’m seen in them. I’m not allowed to be in the women’s locker room for more than ten minutes at a time and I constantly get glares from the teachers and advisors at the school. As much as I want to leave, I’m trapped there by my own parents desire for a high status symbol and how they pressure me to be ‘perfect.’ If I step out of line in any way, I get judged and my parents become extremely angry with me.

More on to how people give me dirty looks and say things behind my back. I’ve been getting made fun of ever since I got my hair cut short, but now that my voice is deepening because of testosterone, people are beginning to make fun of it along with my name of choice, Leo. They constantly taunt me for the way I look, walk, act, and even my interests and there isn’t a damn thing I can do to stop it because of how the school is. Another thing that began with my haircut, a couple deathly homophobic teachers began to give me dirty looks and bad grades on things that I would’ve gotten a good grade on if I were to have been their standard of what they consider ‘normal.’ It seems to me that only if you fit the mold of a ‘perfect Christian’ can you be treated fairly and with respect. I’ve been dehumanized, treated like I’m worthless, and discriminated for the past year or so and I’m just now deciding to speak up about it. Even as I’m writing this I’m purely terrified that the school will find this and terminate me to hide the evidence but I know that the evidence is all in this post if I need it in the future.
