So I heard Mileven is "confirmed" (take that with a HEAVY grain of salt; the leakers are @hopfiims and @dyersfilms on Twitter) to have an "intimate scene" in season 5.... quite a statement to make.
But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt! Maybe their informants are correct! Maybe Mileven will be setting aside their issues and taking their relationship to the next step after all! Maybe Bylers really will lose in the end!
I, on the other hand, have another theory...
If it's true that Finn and Millie filmed an intimate scene together as their characters, of course it would be taken by an uninvolved crew member at face value. But, contextualized within the events of the show, it could potentially be footage for a Vecna vision experienced by Will, specifically one paralleling the above scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. Vecna is going to be trying to weaken Will to the best of his ability; what better way to do that than to shove in his face everything that he can't have?
And considering that the writers have used Harry Potter as a reference before (re: s4 inspiration board, airport scene), PLUS the fact that Noah watched all of the Harry Potter movies during season 5 filming...
... I don't think it's that far fetched to say this could all be connected in favor of Byler.
