Theres a huge difference between a trans person literally walking around in public and being at risk of getting killed and an ace person saying theyre asexual and someone being like “um okay… So like. You dont have sex? At all?”
Yeah, because that's all Asexuals have to deal with. Not bullying, harassment, invalidation, not getting medication they need, etc. Just a simple question. Sure.
Does anyone know where to watch the full Democratic Debate from last night online? Not just highlights or reviews, but the whole thing?

@ poor people who felt like they had no option but the military,
@ people who were targeted in high school, when they didn’t know what they wanted to do and the future seemed scary and impossible,
You’re not the enemy. I’m sorry so many leftists right now hate the oppressed in their hatred of the oppressor. It happens in other industries too—there’s a popular post about killing loggers by driving metal spikes into trees, rather than (a) checking if the logging is sustainable or (b) attacking the corporation.
I’m sorry that so many people are weak and refuse to attack the true evil, turning their sights to you.
Fuck middle-class white people who join for Nationalist reasons. But HELP people who felt like they had no other option.
Stop to consider why you don’t give a shit about poor people and oppressed minorities who are targeted by the military.
All of this is important, but I wanted to expand on your last sentence.
I go to my local community college part time and they gave me a school e-mail address to keep in touch with my teachers, get access to papers behind a paywall unless your a student, and get in touch with different parts of the school like the library or advisory center. At least, I thought that was what it was for.
At least once a week, I get an email from some section of the Military offering to pay for college, promising that I won’t have to serve I just have to go through basic training, I’ll be put in the Reserves, etc.
At least once a week I get an email filled with promising offers to pay for the classes I can’t afford and get promises of not having to sacrifice everything.
At least once a week, I get an email trying to get me to enlist in the Military under false pretenses. They don’t care that I’m not even eligible to serve because of my epilepsy, they don’t even care that I never gave my okay to receive the emails, they don’t even care that I never respond when they continually send me email after email after email.
They target people who feel like they have no options. A lot of people in Community College, at least the one I go to, are poor and some form of a minority, and the military knows that exploits that and it’s disgusting, but I completely understand why someone would take the offer with all of those false promises and offers.
For #Pride2019, I'll be highlighting a different LGBT+ person each day.
Day One: Freddie Mercury. He was out as bisexual to some of his friends, but not to the public, probably because it was illegal to engage in sexual activity with members of the same sex until he was an adult, social pressure, or a fear of having his career be derailed because of his sexuality. This link goes a lot more in depth about him, his relationships, and his sexuality. RIP Freddie Mercury. RIP Farrokh Bulsara.
This is amazing news especially considering their president
Pride Month Is Upon Us

literally ANYONE BUT BANKSY
FUCK BANKSY
so literally the only reason given to hate on bansky is because he might be a white male or a collective of white males
sharing artists: good
shitting on people for things outside their control: bad
No, it’s because his stuff is pretty much the most safe, harmless, vanilla, sanitized, de-clawed, anarchy-lite art targeted towards people who enjoy the aesthetic of anarchism and revolution but don’t want to actually do anything about it. It’s revolution tourism for ppl who wanna feel badass for saying “fuck capitalism” once while never doing anything to actually shake the status quo of capitalism.
But if you don’t know who Banksy actually is, how do you know he doesn’t actually ‘shake the status quo of capitalism’??????

I want to post about a different LGBT+ figure throughout history every day during Pride Month, on this blog and on my Insta, so if anyone could suggest some, I’d really appreciate it and will credit it any way you’d like! I’m fine with doing my own research, so just a name will be fine!
And, yes, this does include A-spec people, POC, NB people, Trans people without Dysphoria, Pansexual people, Bisexual/Pansexual people that were in opposite-sex relationships, people that use the label Queer, and any other person that’s part of the LGBT+ community that gatekeepers try to invalidate.

Hey cis people
I’m gonna have to ask you a favour. If you meet a trans person, and it makes you think about questions you have related to general trans stuff, don’t ask them to that person. Open your phone note app, write them down, and then do some googling on your own time.
Trans people have already written plenty of resources you can find and learn from. We don’t wanna have to educate you when we’re out there just living our lives like anyone else.
This is why you elect Democratic women. #lgbtq @GovJanetMills
Bravo, Maine!
