Hey, everyone! By now you've probably noticed how inactive I am on this blog. Some time ago, I announced on my other blog, Anti-Choice Screencaps, that I was retiring from Tumblr...but I realized I never said anything on here! I'm sorry if I have missed any of your questions or comments and am doing my best to respond to them efficiently. While I am still passionate about sex education and eradicating the stigma associated with sexually transmitted diseases, I will no longer be managing this blog.  I encourage you to keep reblogging my posts and any others that promote a healthy, happy sex life. You forgot polyisoprene as a condom-material. This is another non-latex material, and feels a LOT better than polyurethane in my personal opinion, plus is also FDA approved. :) If you would like an article that is a more comprehensive for condom info, let me know! I wrote one for a non-profit a while ago. :)

Condom materials

Latex: Condoms made from rubber; prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections.

Polyurethane: Condoms made from a specific polymer; prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infection; often used by people with latex allergies/sensitivity. 

Lambskin: Condoms made from animal membranes; DO NOT prevent the spread of sexually transmitted infections.

You are not your STI. You are simply a person affected by a medical condition, the same way some people are affected by diabetes or cancer, and you should never be shamed for that.
