Love Alone is Worth the Fight!
I don't think I could have ever agreed more! And I have to Switchfoot's new Album is Spectacular! Their new album came out of nowhere and caught me by surprise. I have always been a very big fan of theirs since back in middle school and they will always hold a special place in my heart. Switchfoot was my first concert and I had never felt that strong about a band since them! Can't wait for the Annual Bro-Am this year!
So now that we are on the topic of Love, I might as well give my opinion. I know there are many of you out there that have felt both the warmth and comfort of love, the immaculate sparks that arise from kisses and the flame of burning passion.
But then there are also many that have experienced the burn of lost love, and the broken feeling right after. And I will admit I have felt both.
It's something that makes you feel like you'll never find anything like it, and it may be true. There will never be anything exactly like it, but there might be something better out there. I know its cliché to say the whole, "There are plenty of fish in the sea" saying that everyone seems to tell you after a lost relationship but there it is.
I like to think that there might be someone out there, or many, just waiting to meet me, ones that will figure out what I am worth. Who knows, there could be one waiting for me when I get back to school this semester, or maybe one across the pond waiting to meet me for the first time.
But then I'm also the kind of person that believes that you will always love those who have touched your heart once. Because love in my opinion is forever, no matter the circumstances. It's the burning flame that touches your frozen heart, thawing it out to let it skip a beat once again. I believe that people can change, hearts change, lives change, paths change, minds change, nothing is set in stone.
So who knows what will happen, someone might surprise you. You've just got to let life guide you to that path, because no matter where you go, love always follows. And those who live life with nothing but love, always have the ability to fall in love more than once.
So Ladies and Gents don't you dare be glum this Valentines Day! You'll find someone soon! And there might be someone out there thinking about you right now, wishing they could get the courage to say something they are afraid to say.
