“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. (Mark 11: 22-23)

Dear Aris, I just later you down to sleep on your alphabet floor mats. You've been a bit fussy these past few days because your top teeth are coming. It's been some work trying to help you through it (chuckles). Your mother and I don't mind. It only means you're growing, and growing well I might add. I have a feeling you might skip crawling and go straight to walking. You already know how to pick yourself up to stand in your crib. Which is why you are sleeping on your alphabet mat. Your mother just finished installing a safety net around your crib because earlier today you stood up, put your foot through the bars of the crib and got your thigh stuck. You're learning so quickly. I have to keep an even closer eye on you. As I look over to my right and see you sleeping peacefully, I thank God for blessing your mother and I with you. A beautiful, fast learning healthy seven month year old that makes we want to go out and bring the world home in my palm for you. You motivate me everyday. Love, -Dad
Dear Aris, Your mother is BEAUTIFUL. That is all. Good night. Love, -Dad
Dear Aris,
This is a photo of you and I after an interview I had Monday morning. I got the job but I am not content with it. Doesn't mean I am not thankful for it. I just feel I am overqualified and can obtain a better position elsewhere. Don't ever settle, Aris. And if you must settle, settle for more. I've seen too many people in my life who have the absolute potential to be great but never do because they stop chasing their goals/dreams and settle for less than what they want. Don't do that! Go after what you want and be passionate about it. Please don't ever stop pursuing your dreams until you're happy. Happiness is so important. As long as you're happy you'll be successful. Don't forget that. You're going to be a great person in life that will achieve whatever it is that you set out to do. You have to always believe in yourself. There is nothing you should fear because God is going to be with you the whole way. Okay it's getting late and I have my second interview of the week in the morning which I am sure I will get and once I do I'll be right back home to take another photo with you Papas. As I conclude this letter I want you to know that the source of my happiness is God, you and your mother. You make me the happiest and this is why I won't ever stop working to make sure you all are happy. You're my world.
Love,
-Dad
Dear Aris,
This was taken earlier today while you were napping. Don't be mad at your mother and I (smirks). This is what happens when you play too long and skip naps, man. You get drunk off milk and pass out like a grown man. It's okay because you're still the cutest little boy around. By the way, this extended nap you took gave your mother and I time to nap as well. Good looking out.
Love,
-Dad
Dear Aris, You’re growing so fast! It is a bittersweet feeling. On one hand I want you stay small and bite size so your mom and I can always baby you and on the other hand I am proud of all you accomplished. You’re like a little man already. I love this photo of you already trying to read. Just don’t grow up too fast like your father. I want you to fully enjoy being a kid. I’ll be here for you always.
Love, -Dad
Dear Aris,
I made a video to welcome you home during one of your first few days out of the hospital. I can stare at you all day, dude.
Love,
-Dad
Dear Aris, Your mother and I just put you down to sleep about an hour ago. This is the first time wearing your new jammies (pajamas). I couldn’t help but notice how adorable you look and how much of a little man you are. Sleep well, son. We have church in the morning.
Love, -Dad
