Shout out to all the brown eyed beauties
media/social media: hey, check out this interesting documentary that came out a while ago me: oh that does sound very interesting! can i watch it with my eyes please? filmmaker:
does anyone know how many pomegranate seeds Hozier ate? how much longer does he have to stay in the underworld before he can come make some new music?
i feel like knowing the word âyonicâ (the vagina equilavent of phallic) really changes a person because after that point basically any shape or objective can be classified as genital-shaped. eyes? yonic symbolism. fingers? phallic symbolism. thats all there is
poking yourself in the eye? a cunning symbol of sexual intercourse
exactly!!
Might I add:
Yonic the Hedgehog

âIf a society puts half its children into short skirts and warns them not to move in ways that reveal their panties, while putting the other half into jeans and overalls and encouraging them to climb trees, play ball, and participate in other vigorous outdoor games; if later, during adolescence, the children who have been wearing trousers are urged to âeat like growing boys,â while the children in skirts are warned to watch their weight and not get fat; if the half in jeans runs around in sneakers or boots, while the half in skirts totters about on spike heels, then these two groups of people will be biologically as well as socially different. Their muscles will be different, as will their reflexes, posture, arms, legs and feet, hand-eye coordination, and so on. Similarly, people who spend eight hours a day in an office working at a typewriter or a visual display terminal will be biologically different from those who work on construction jobs. There is no way to sort the biological and social components that produce these differences. We cannot sort nature from nurture when we confront group differences in societies in which people from different races, classes, and sexes do not have equal access to resources and power, and therefore live in different environments. Sex-typed generalizations, such as that men are heavier, taller, or stronger than women, obscure the diversity among women and among men and the extensive overlaps between them⊠Most women and men fall within the same range of heights, weights, and strengths, three variables that depend a great deal on how we have grown up and live. We all know that first-generation Americans, on average, are taller than their immigrant parents and that men who do physical labor, on average, are stronger than male college professors. But we forget to look for the obvious reasons for differences when confronted with assertions like âMen are stronger than women.â We should be asking: âWhich men?â and âWhat do they do?â There may be biologically based average differences between women and men, but these are interwoven with a host of social differences from which we cannot disentangle them.â

anyway jeff bezos could eradicate homelessness. he could literally give each homeless person 100k and it would only take less than .5% of his entire wealth. what the actual god giving fuck
Why do you think they deserve it
Well shelter is a basic need, and would at the very least allow them a place where they can get back on their feet. Food water and shelter are necessary for a healthy body and psychology. Thereâs also the fact that theyâre people too, and a little help goes a long way in making a decent community. Thereâs plenty of reasons
Yeah they need stuff, but why does every homeless person deserve 0.5% of someoneâs income
You have five hundred apples, and just one day to eat them all.Â
You pass by a small crowd of hungry children, and decide youâd rather 455 apples go rotten than give them to some snotty brat who isnât your problem.
It doesnât matter how hard youâve worked for your 500 apples, or that you arenât the parent of any of those kids. in the moment you decide to walk away, it doesnât matter why theyâre hungry, or who owes who what.
You had the opportunity to help people, you had the ability to help people, you had the resources to help people. You had everything you needed to make a small, tiny little difference in someoneâs life, and you decided not to.
What are you going to buy in your lifetime thatâs worth more to you than your own humanity?

Reblogging for the very, very important lesson
Sometimes I wish there were a Hell if only for the visuals of a bunch of rich shit heads wandering around on fire asking âWhereâs my money?!â
hey! i'm sorry if this has been asked before, but do you have any resources/tips/advice for anyone wanting to learn/improve palestinian dialect?
Hello, anon! Thank you for asking!
Although itâs not very easy finding just the Palestinian dialect, since most of the available sources are a mix of Palestinian and Jordanian Urban dialect (since they resemble each other) but I will recommend the following :Â
First of all, Iâm a speaker of the Palestinian dialect (the Urban dialect but I can help you with the rural expressions and proverbs), and I post vocabulary and explanation of Palestinian sayings or proverbs every once and a while, you can check out my Palestinian dialect tag [link].
Iâll also recommend the following website : Learn Palestinian dialect website [link]Â
Introduction to the Palestinian dialect [link]Â Â
Here are some books on AmazonÂ
Spoken Palestinian dialect [link]
Introduction to Palestinian dialect [link]Â
Colloquial Arabic : Palestinian dialect [link]Â
I also recommend that you listen to Palestinian songs and tv shows.
Some Palestinian songs that I recommend :
Ya thareef Attool [link]
Ana dammi falasteeni- Mohammad Assaaf [link]
âAlli Elkoufiyye- Mohammad Assaaf [link]
Wein âa Ramallah- Mohammad Kobha [link]
Takseyeh -Emad Batayeh & Ghada Derbas [link] Â
Ya Jabal ma yhezzak reeh- Omar Abdellat [link]
Saq Allah - Ibrahim Subeehat [link]
Ehna Shabaabek Falasteen [link]
Saf Addihiyya - Qasem Annajaar and Shadi Al bourini [link]
Yalli btheb ennaânaâ - [link]
Once again, Iâm always here if you want me to help you with it, if you have song translation requests or you want me to post sayings or particular vocabulary lists let me know!
mission statement
so basically this is my first post in whatâs gonna be a long.. long journey of trying to improve my spoken/written skills in arabic, specifically palestinian dialect.Â
i grew up monolingual and itâs only been within the past few years that iâve become multilingual, but because i only picked up arabic through semi-immersion via my family and a few friends (along with a few painful years of fu97a in high school), i have huuuuge gaps in my knowledge of the language.. not to mention that conjugating verbs has never been my strong suit.Â
i want to improve my arabic so that i can feel more comfortable expressing myself while talking to my friends and family, and also partially to see if i can hunt down resources and/or create some for the langblr community in the process.
along the way iâll be posting check-ins with reports of my progress ( or lack thereof ), resources and tips iâve collected, and other things.Â
for blacklisting and/or tracking purposes, iâll be tagging all related posts with âamal does arabicâ.Â
if anyone in the langblr community has any advice or resources, or even just wants to watch me suffer through this, that would be awesome!
if representation doesnât matter to you itâs probably because youâre already representedÂ
