we don't want to train young people to do your job, we don't want to re-adjust the office culture to account for things millenials / gen z just expect (like permitted gender nonconformance, paid travel expenses, free coffee in the breakroom), and besides, we're not sure that young people want to sell their soul out on a mindnumbing, cruelty-creating office job so we might not be able to replace you

its amazing how many people will come to the correct conclusion that no matter how old you are most people will always need a fullfilling regular activity to get up in the morning for that gives them a feeling of purpose and achievement at the end of the day. and then suddenly they take a sharp right directly into "this thing HAS to be a job at a company that doesnt give a shit about you".
