A New Life

It’s been awhile

For the last almost year we have been back in Wisconsin. It has been a busy year. Working a full time job and a part time job, plus school, plus my own little family is a lot but life is okay. Well this weekend I finally got some time to really enjoy with my daughter. Yesterday we walked around the neighborhood and went to the park. Today we  went on a nice hike in our county park through some woods and then we had a picnic there as well. Brooklyn and I have been needing some time together for awhile. Daddy is always working on the weekends but that will be ending soon because he just got a job with Apple and will be working Monday through Friday from home! Soon we will have more family time together because of it. Plus, we are moving in just a few weeks and where we are moving we will have a fenced in backyard. I am so excited. We are also getting Brooklyn her first bike this summer! Basically, although life has been crazy crazy busy this past year, life has been okay.

I know that nobody reads this and that's okay. Since I have lived in Wisconsin I have gained 20 pounds and I am not happy about it. Well, I joined a gym! I have gone every morning before work as well as in the mornings on the weekends before my little girl wakes. My goal is to lose 45 pounds in about 8 months. Hopefully that is doable. I know that I can lose about 20 pretty easily because I have done ti before. That is the weight that I can lose and gain really fast. It is after that that will be hard. I have gone back to my good habits of lots of water and no soda. Less eating out as well. Hopefully I can continue with that and meet my goal. I am excited to see the results in the end.

Been Awhile

It's been awhile since I have been on here but I wanted to post. Moving from California back home to Wisconsin has been quit the adventure. The road trip itself was amazing. We had the cat and all of us and everything was fun. We had a few hiccups along the way but it made it more exciting. Brooklyn loved the hotels every night as well. Once we got here things got busy. We moved in the last day of May or so and were working hard. By the middle/end of June we both had full time jobs. But, we made juts a little bit too much to get assistance for childcare. Well, Jon now started school so he had to drop to part time and now we are are able to put Brooklyn in a Preschool. Our little princess is already in Preschool, that is hard to believe. So far she is loving it though. 

It has been hard going from a stay at home mom for 2 1/2 years to a full time working mom and also in school. It is a lot to juggle and I miss the one on one time with Brooklyn. She constantly asks to stay with me and it breaks my heart to say I have to go to work. 

The relationship is still going strong but it isn't easy. With Jon having school M-Th and working Friday and Saturday and me working M-F and then laying Brooklyn down at 7:30 and doing homework until 10. We don't get a lot of time together. We are just staying strong and keep reminding ourselves that this is only for a few years. Once we are done with school we should be able to enjoy life a little more. 

I have also been having really bad baby fever. I want another little baby so bad but I know it isn't a good time. I also have 2 1/2 years until my birth control gets taken out. We agreed that when our daughter was 5-6 we would have another one. I can't wait for that point in our lives. 

Well, that's my life right now. Hectic but still moving forward.

Super scared

I have decided to make a big step towards my future. Right now I am a nanny and I can bring my daughter with me. I am also going to college online at the moment. My husband is getting out of the marines and we are moving home, to Wisconsin, we are currently in Cali., in just 3 weeks. I have decided that after my next term of school, which will end around August, I will be joining the National Guard. This will help out my family financially. I know they don't make a lot of money but the little bit that I would make is better then not having it at all. On top of that it will help me with my school finances. Once I am done with my bachelors I can even go to be an Officer later on. But I am terrified of all of this. 

I have never been away from my daughter for more then maybe 2 days. My training will be a total of 19 weeks! On top of all of that my husband has never taken care of our daughter completely alone for more than a day. He will be taking care of her while working and going to school. I am nervous that he won't be able to handle all of it and neither will I. My husband and I have always made it through everything, even the hard times. We just take it day by day, but I am still nervous! I can't stop thinking about it!!

I have started uping the amount that I work out so that I can be decently fit before I join. I know that no matter what I do I won't be prepared for it but I can at least be more prepared than I am now. GOSH I AM SO NERVOUS!

Potty Training

This past weekend I took my daughter to Target in her underwear instead of a diaper. We were there for an hour ad a half and she didn't have at accidents, she even went on the potty once! Then today she was in her diaper playing and she stopped and told me she had to go potty. When I took her to the bathroom her diaper was dry and she went potty! She even did it at the doctor today! She is so close and getting so big!

Yesterday I had my first mommy breakdown in along time! My daughter has these new tantrums that she throws and I can't handle them. I have been so good at staying calm and not letting it get to me until yesterday. I started crying and I couldn't stop. I just couldn't stay calm one more time I guess. After that little break down I was fine. Gosh sometimes I just want a break!
