Tumblr reminds me of the gay friendship groups you have as a teenager whose members are actually all evil to the core. I’m not joking when I say that some of the shit I read on here about women makes my jaw drop.

Also as a lesbian saying ‘straight women are (insert awful thing)’ is not the defence you think it is. Everyone knows you just hate women but can’t get away with saying that. It drives me nuts because whatever issue you can have with ‘straight women’ (I.e - all women but you are trying to be sneaky) you can have with straight men as well. Sexualising gay relationships for example is a huge problem but let’s not pretend for a single second that men haven’t been sexually harassing lesbian couples for decades. One of the first articles I ever read that included lesbians was the story of those two women on a bus in England who got beat up by a man after they refused to kiss for him. Still, I’ve read so many pseudo intellectual think pieces on women who engaging in mlm media from people who have never raised the issue of lesbians being fetishised.

I’m not saying we can’t criticise women, I’m saying that you guys do so in such a disproportionate way and that sexism is at the root of the issue in so many instances.

On the flip side there are so many lovely, creative and intelligent people on here and I in no way want to imply that everyone on this site acts this way; it is just a small but extremely vocal minority.
