some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, âwhatâs the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?â and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is âunofficialâ, and we know thatâs not the right word, but itâs the only word we can come up withâŠuntil finally itâs like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is âartificialâ.
As I begin watching the pending phase whatever weâre on now of the so called mcu, i would just like to clarify which universe the movies im watching are taking place in.
You guys might seem to remember a steve rodgers who went back in time and lived a happy life at the end of endgame, but that was Not My Steve, as I refuse to believe that Steve Rogers would get a single nightâs sleep knowing Buckyâs reality.

nothing on this god's green earth can convince me that peter parker doesn't have an ao3 account where he is elbows deep in a 'rise of skywalker' fix-it fic. like, fully invested in it, been writing it pre-spider bite with ned, who is just as enthusiastic about it. but the thing is, it's really hard to do updates when you are literally spider-man.
every three months he'll post and in the author's note there's some shit like "sorry this took a while, i got shot seven times :/" or "i know it's been a minute, i literally got hit by a bus and then stabbed in the leg, but i'm all good!" or sometimes ned would log in and post with a note "hey i'm a friend posting on the author's behalf, they're healing from severe hypothermia but promised an update, so here it is!"
and the fic just gets increasingly more popular for the author notes alone. a good handful of the comments are something along the lines of "i'm not even in the star wars fandom, i'm just here to see if the author is good" or "every update i cheer for another day the author gets to live at this point"
and any reader who is a native new yorker kind of pieces together that holy shit the author might be spider-man because the timeline adds up, and they just fully embrace it. spider-man will stop a robbery and the guy behind the counter will ask when the next chapter will be up. spider-man returns a stolen backpack to a girl and she'll tell him that he "really got poe's voice down so well, it's really impressive."
ned thinks it is hilarious. mj finds out about the fic from twitter, to peter's absolute horror, and changes peter's contact name to "friendly neighborhood ao3 author". but the worst thing to happen is after an avengers battle where peter took a pretty big hit and ends up in med-bay. and during a press conference, when someone asks how spider-man is healing, tony just drops "spidey won't be down for too long. the star wars fic will be updated within the week, probably."
The only thing pending from the phase four list of mcu properties was the I am Groot animated short series S1 with 5 episodes of 3 mins each. Yeah. You read that right. And its fucking adorable.

I mean im only 2 eps in but my main takeaway is that Groot is the best most adorable little plant and since i myself am quite hostile to fauna due to my inability to water myself let alone a plant literally or metaphorically, i am happy for the little guy.

Benedict is sitting at the desk, hard at work on...something.
"I am sketching out a new design for the bookshelves at My Cottage," Benedict responds without looking up. "I think Sophie deserves for them to be a little nicer."
Anthony blinks. "They are bookshelves."
"Boring. Dull. If my future wife is to spend a serious amount of time in that room, it should be much more beautiful than it is."

There is a void in me now that ive rewatched bridgerton 100000 times and tried to rewatch the mess thats hotd. I need a new obsession and there are a bunch of candidates that have been dancing around my feed seductively calling to me to gorge myself with the promise of an obsession slash polite heightened emotional experience. But i was never allowed to make my own decisions till i was 26 so now i need you all to maybe pick for me?

knowing that Michaela is already canonically in love with Fran is soooo fucking buzzy... like when she's teasing Fran about her puzzles? she thinks that's adorable. when they're arguing? she thinks that's hot. when they're giggling together at the breakfast table? she has fucking butterflies, she's kicking herself for having such massive unwieldy feelings for someone so impossibly unavailable, she's giddy just to be in her company, she hates herself for desiring her cousin's wife, she is falling deeper and deeper in love with the sound of her laughter. and Fran's just there like Yay :) I made a new friend :) John will be so pleased! :)))

What I love about Benedict in Part 2 is that he never complained or got angry with Sophie whenever she doubted his love for her. He was patient and soft, always reassuring her of his feelings. He knew that if she needed words of affirmation, he would gladly provide them.
