WIP Wednesday: week #9 of crochet raven shawl 🐦‍⬛ aaand FINISHED the second panel (of three)!!! This makes 78 feathers complete to date 🥳🎉

it’s called braceletbook.com and it appears to be a resource for like…friendship bracelets? And making cool patterns for them? Which is super cool and I do want to try it. But all of these patterns absolutely work as cross stitch patterns

Again it’s geared towards bracelets so they tend to be long and skinny, which is the only major limitation. But you can search and filter by number of colors, I’m making myself a frog bookmark.

It’s hot here now—it’s in the 90s but we’re a very delicate people; to me the weather feels bad if the high is over 80, and I have no air conditioning—and I threw some dark blue fabric over the window that gets the harshest sun and it makes a phenomenal difference. It’s great! It’s saving at least a couple of legitimate degrees! It’s real data! But it makes it very hard to take knitting photos. My plain green cotton squares are going great! You’ve got to believe me!

I once again have no money (it all went to bills, and keeping gas in my car to get to and from the foodbank), I have 2 weeks to pay up the $300 I owe on my car insurance before they cancel the policy, and I'm literally thousands of dollars behind on other bills and debts that have been piling up since my parents died last September.

It's getting harder and harder to not spend anything on food, even though I usually only have one meal a day at this point -- the foodbank gets less and less each week to give out, and more and more people show up, so there just isn't a lot to go around ever since my foodstamps got cancelled in January without explanation or warning.

This is about the most desperately I have ever needed money, and to make matters worse, I can't even vend at markets until I can get my housing and logistics less precarious. Which is a pretty huge problem, as that was the vast majority of my income.

I still have an active gofundme from when I totaled my car last summer. I also have a massive amount of hand made inventory in my shop! I have bookmarks, potholders, jewelry, accessories, pride wear, pottery, knitting patterns, and more available for sale, and a page of customizable order forms for commissions. If you’re on a tight budget, check out my discount section! I welcome messages or asks with any questions!

But I saw it and my brain immediately went to eraserhead baby so I modified the lightbulb a bit (aka winged it) and it came out ok! So now I have a crochet eraserhead baby.
